Has evil fallen yet?

Not every single unsolved female murder case was done at the hands of one man, Perth was and still has a very transient population, though I expect after the CSK has been dealt with they may move onto this although I think they know that they have very little to go on here.

Also, Dan found a bag of drugs on the street, took possession of whatever drugs they were and destroyed them? Is that correct Dan?

I wont be surprised if Kerry Turner and Julie Cutler case connected based on the disappearance location and the discovered body location.
Another body found next to a log in the hills...

David Birnie was a bash, torture shallow grave pine forest guy.

These are surface laid bodies. Theres someone else out there.

300 officers trying to piece the puzzle together as we speak. That's one hell of a wages bill.

Apart from several Parmelia Hilton champagne flutes in the four-door Fiat, nothing else significant was found inside the vehicle.

"After we recovered Julie’s vehicle...we were able to establish that one of the rear doors of her car couldn't be locked,” he said.

“So we looked at the possibility that someone may have secreted themselves in the back seat while it was parked at the hotel without her knowing and that she was forced to drive somewhere.”

Has this detective been reading our thread?

“(For the car) to have found its way into the ocean, we concluded that it must have been driven off or rolled off the wall straight into the water where it must have floated momentarily, before being taken out with the motion of the waves, before sinking to the floor of the ocean.

“We were able to arrive at that conclusion because there was no sign of the vehicle at the beach when the regular swimmers arrived at daybreak to undertake their daily exercises.

“That particular night, there were strong winds and rain to the extent that the waves were lapping the retaining the wall of the Cottesloe Surf Club.

It had to go into the water that night because the next day, the water had subsided, the tide had gone out leaving a wide gap of sand between the edge of the retaining wall and the surf.”

Mr Carey said he was convinced Ms Cutler was never in the car when it went into the water.

Also refers to one dumping event, the back seat washed out of the car and it went over the wall not the groyne.

Significant increase in media regarding cold cases recently.

Julie Cutler.
Gerard Ross.
Lisa Brown.
Lisa Goven.

And cold cases leading to recent arrests.

Comedy act in a serial killer discussion.

Go figure.
Just pointing out that the fact of 4 champagne flutes found inside a car can mean many things. Everything and nothing is sinister

Go figure

Nothing alarming or inappropriate about it. It's not like he was threatening women or attacking them with misogynistic insult and smear in a serial killer discussion where women are the victims.

I still have a couple of old pub glasses GreyCrow :p

"WAtoday can reveal a review of the case file was carried out last year by the Cold Case Homicide Squad"

Since this thread was only started in November, I doubt it had anything to do with the review. IMO

Hay Pete you like all crimes or just fixated on a few like the mega spammer ?

So which Bigfooty user said the car was driven off the groyne without a scratch?

When you get those types of swell, everything is washed in.

I prefer the ones that are challenging to crack but have some possibility of deduction from open sourced information.
Cracking one with a hefty reward would be nice ;)

Why are you repeating what I quoted exactly?

In the history of WA, has reward ever been paid Pete? I don't think a reward has ever been paid. Australia wide?

It was a joke PD. However, I do believe intense interest on this site (well before this thread started) and elsewhere including weather thesis relevant to the time Julie's car went into the sea got some attention and was referred to.

"In the past five years there has been $640,000 paid out for a total of six rewards." NSW 2015 https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/n...s/news-story/c569a53986db5206d7f171b8d69f6def

Between July 2008 and June 2012, informants collected $130,380 related to 154 incidents, with individual rewards from $150 to $2000.

The payments - in addition to the $350,000 paid to Crime Stoppers callers since it was set up in 1997 - are awarded regardless of getting a conviction.

Serious Crime Co-ordination Branch officer-in-charge Detective Chief Superintendent Tom Osborn said there still were 49 Government-approved rewards available for information on serious crimes in SA between 1966 and 2004.

Etc.

I believe that police officers themselves can claim reward money.

Quite possible. Only time will tell of it's value though.

I dont think shellyg is claiming this thread did it , but the same as you suggest PD,
************ thread super study about ocean weather conditions, how the car went in, what point of access, for how many days it lay underwater, the flow of currents, swell direction , wind directions etc .
Funny that a couple of us had theories just like the news article says...
