Changed my mind on Melbourne Indigenous jumper now I've seen the back, AFL were absolutely right about Melbourne not wearing it against the Bulldogs. WTF were Melbourne thinking with that back?

Other sides didn't wear their Indigenous jumper when there was a clash. Should be in the mostly white away jumper

It's not really a clash though, white would look better but this is still fine.

It continually blows my mind how the afl can't consider the whole uniform for clashes. We constantly get stupid backs or side panels that don't need to be there.
Even last night why did Melbourne create a jumper with a mostly red front but blue back?

It’s why I started thread. It just blows the mind how incredibly stupid some of the decisions are, and there’s absolutely no reason for it. You actually start to think they’re trying to do it.

I found it a bit tricky early in the game when there was bright sunshine and dark shadows, but once the shadows took over it was fine

I only watched about 5-10 mins but it did have shadows across about half the ground. So that transition was annoying. Again it wasnt the worst clash we've seen but I just dont understand why we have dark blue versus slightly lighter blue

I can't see why we couldn't have worn a reverse, yellow version of our indigenous jumper. Would have been great for so many reasons.

It was horrible early on, and to my mind that was enough to make it a clash. I think I'm a bit of an outlier on this, as I would err on the side of wearing clash jumpers when potentially there may not even be a clash as opposed to whatever the hell the current policy is. Tradition runs a very distant second to being able to clearly tell the two teams apart in my mind, and even though I'm completely mystified as to why that seems to put me in the minority, I understand that it does and which is why I realise that I have to put up with situations like we had in the early part of the game yesterday.

Given the Sir Doug Nicholls round now spans over two weeks, why not task the club's with creating two versions of their jumper like some clubs already do?
