Fauxback meaning a fake throwback to a nonexistent traditional jumper

Klim had a few similar to this based on the cycling jersey that some clubs have. It looked pretty good in his mockup
I was going to use it in the current set-up but I chose the other ones.

Wouldn't be a bad fauxback.

I know what fauxback means, but how is it a fauxback of what they've worn. At the moment, I reckon their only options are the Team GWS guernsey and their first clash jumper

You're thinking throwback. Dylan already said to "a non-existent jumper"

Look great but the problem here is brand recognition. There is a reason that the logos of both the Suns and Giants are extremely prominent on their guernseys, even if they don't make for terrific designs. I can't see that changing anytime soon.

A strong brand doesn't have to have the logo slapped everywhere at the largest possible size. Both teams have lazy, boring, shite jumpers.
I agree, but I don't expect the clubs to. Every design they've put out so far have huge logos on them. It's clearly what they want; I can't really see them moving away from it so quickly.

The Dockers had the anchor it weighed them down for 15 years.

Not sure if this posted before, as I said, I'm new. Threw this together as an alternative to the power ranger Guernsey. Colouring is a little off but you get the idea
This without the outside brown stripes should have been our next clash.
Instead we will get a brown V - celebrating our 1933 Jumper when we won 3 games.

Better than Codys
did codes shag your missus or something?

1/??

Let's be honest, Bush League Kits aren't gonna change their collar or fix their colours. Only minor changes to the home get up, with the biggest being the navy collar and cuffs and the new number font.

New design. Red base, a funky blue sash/slash thing, yellow trim and shorts.

I like it. Where did the bush league conversation come from?

How mature. What makes St Kilda so shit?
It was purely a critique of the Anchor on the jumper nothing to do with anything on field. Paranoid much?

The Old Anchor was much better than the new one btw, it just didn't need to be on the jumper much like the Giants 'G'.

Geez I like the black jumper! Good design but I don't think Collingwood would allow them because they use black and white stripes.
Doesn't really matter. They'd wear he orange against Collingwood. The charcoal would be against brighter teams like Sydney or Gold Coast.

So, I decided to try and improve possibly the most criticised home design in the AFL at the moment.. The Gold Coast Suns. In order to do this.. I started off with the logo itself.

It's a Sun and there's a (really well) hidden 'G' in the middle.. can you see it? Another thought of mine was: "how cool would it be if the sun's rays made the sun 3D?"
So, I did that. Not thinking about how it would look on a guernsey..

..So here's how it looks on a guernsey.

As you can see, there is now a two-tone red design along with a darker yellow, commonly known as gold. These are Adelaide's red and gold, with a darker shade of red added in the mix. I was hoping to achieve a design that would be simple (like the too-simple current design) but still be interesting, I guess.. I think I did that, but, eh. It's never getting used anyway.

I don't see a 'G', I see a bag of crisps.
