Good but it's not complete without the white piping.

Wait aren’t you the adidas specialist?Sydney to Nike btw
Port valued an AFL license more than they did maintaining their heritage. That's why they're in the league as "Power" and not magpies.port have just as much claim to their own heritage
If the name "Magpies" were available they would be the Magpies. As it turns out, it was taken so, alas, Port Adelaide had to choose another moniker.Port valued an AFL license more than they did maintaining their heritage. That's why they're in the league as "Power" and not magpies.
Anyone else in favour of Collingwood fans being banned on commenting on Port Adelaide's identity?
I don't think the magpies nickname at AFL level is an issue for Port supporters. We understand there is a clash there that can't be solved.Port valued an AFL license more than they did maintaining their heritage. That's why they're in the league as "Power" and not magpies.
I should probably point out that Coburg were the Tigers due to their affiliation with Richmond. When Richmond got their own team they reverted back to their traditional name of Lions. So now there’s 2 which really is 1 too many but what can you do really?I don't think the magpies nickname at AFL level is an issue for Port supporters. (Unless we are in the VFL where at 1 point there was 2 or 3 Tigers teams (Coburg, Werribee and Richmond reserves for some reason)
But the jumper problem can be solved via clash jumpers.
This basically sums up the whole debate. Port Adelaide can't have it's cake and eat it too.Port valued an AFL license more than they did maintaining their heritage. That's why they're in the league as "Power" and not magpies.
Not necessarily. I’m sure we’d love to have been called the Magpies, but we weren’t allowed because of Collingwood. I think the general consensus among Port fans is that we’re fine to be called to the Power, and then a 50/50 split wanting Prison Bars or the BiB. But we are too far in now to change to the Magpies in the AFL (not that we’d be allowed to)Port valued an AFL license more than they did maintaining their heritage. If it were the other way around and Collingwood had to join a national competition with the nickname "magpies" taken, I'd have no problem with us changing the moniker. If the name "Magpies" were available they would be the Magpies. Exactly and that is why I find the debates around Port vs Coll futile as it won't realistically achieve anything. But we are too far in now to change to the Magpies in the AFL (not that we’d be allowed to)
I actually really like this. The feathered wings look great, and I’m sure if the Eagles were much newer they’d have done similar. And the AFL wordmark looks good on its own. A lot better than I thought it would.Quick mockup I did of the Eagles.
After what they've done to Carlton, why would someone move to them?Sydney to Nike btw
Alternatively, what is Nike doing adding another team when they can't even handle Carlton? After what they've done to Carlton, why would someone move to them?
