Workshop Jumper Ideas for 2022

I don't have the IT skills or creative nous to do so, but I think it'd be really cool if someone could come up with some hypothetical Carlton guernseys. I get that there's not much you can do with its simple and kind of boring design, but I need something to cheer me up from this rabble of a club.

Here's a repost for you. Made this a year or so ago, just an idea for a clash/away jumper with a nod to history

A bit of re-brand for my beloved Magpies, not that I would ever change the current bird logo, it's too iconic and loved to get rid of. But I reckon they should regularly use new and different designs for clash and away strips.

Love it. I think we need more obscure away and clash jumpers. Can be worn against st kilda’s neck tie from a few years ago to form the battle of the white collar.

It's perched on a fence post, bit of a throwback to the VFL logo, always loved it.

I made this as a mix between an old clash and an old home jumper for the tigers (Edit: swapped it out for the same design with the more modern vibrant yellow)

Ah i see, nice. My initial thought looking at it on my small phone was it looked like it was sitting atop a castle, game of thrones like, and thought it would be cool if it was the Olympic pool roofline with the exposed steel…

Geelong obviously have issues with their dark shorts with their light jumper. Just an idea… what if the cats wore hooped shorts. Hoops all the way from the top of the jumper through to the bottom of the socks. Can wear it for all home and away games.

A single thick navy stripe around the leg holes might be as far as you could go with that.


Having said that, I do like the idea of teams doing a bit more with their shorts.

Already been done but just added the extra hoop at the bottom. Would work with both white/navy shorts and still retains a strong Geelong identity.

Looks more like just a secondary logo for slapping on merch like we see here. Looks quite neat though wouldn't mind seeing it on more Melbourne gear.

There was actually talk of a rebrand when they were with XBlades but it seem to go out the window when they went under. Shame.

I think this was just a case of people getting carried away with wishful thinking. There was one line in an article about the partnership with XBlades talking about them working with Jimmy Bartel to 'refresh the range', and people assumed that he was going to be getting the textas out and drawing a new logo.
