Seeing it on, it actually looks pretty shmick.
If they integrated parts from our Majestic yellow kit it would be a quality strip

Maroon lion on the chest would make this look complete

Suuuurely New Balance (or whoever do Suns/Saints gear) would have those in gold, as per Melbourne's current arrangement?
They can easily print gold above that shoulder seam, the bigger risk would be them doing the seam in blue for some mad reason.

Brisbane Lions 2023 Clash Guernsey concept
Does it achieve enough of a "clash" purpose? That's probably the thing that you need to consider. We have two clash colours that are in our historic identity which would be gold and white, that is why we have used them the past few years, and they may give you a better outcome that the current blue.

We wear our clash against Sydney, Gold Coast & The Giants. Predominantly red & orange, blue contrasts with all their jumpers perfectly. Our gold clash from 2017 - 2019 clashed with GWS and white clashes with sydney's. This design includes all our colours and avoids the clash problem.

The clash kit is generally designed to contrast your other kits i.e. if one kit is made up of darker colours (as ours is) then your other should be light colours.
It would probably work as an alternate home or away kit, but a clash kit specifically probably not. We would also likely have to wear this with white shorts as well based on our historic usage of them, we might need to consider that in the colour design.

We would also likely not be able to wear this vs the Giants on the road as they have the "dark" colour of charcoal on their kit.

General feedback though, not a bad kit design, the differing shades of blue actually work really well. Might need to go in and warp the "v" though so that it aligns with the collar and runs down the chest correctly (look at the mid-point of the Lion and the mid-point of the "v" not aligning).

Fair assessment, however West Coast & The Bulldogs both wear royal blue against GWS for away games and theirs no significant clash, I don't understand how that would be an issue. Obviously I imagined this jumper being worn with white shorts and maroon socks.

If Puma managed to print the wings over the top of the 2016-17 side panel template, surely we can print some extra blue on some shoulders.
