If I remember Puma had replicas for most teams at this time. Even teams that weren't specifically with Puma at the time.
  • Hyundai logo
  • monogram
  • and Puma

These were available in the mid 90's. Not sure why/how Puma were producing carlton jumpers as Carlton were with adidas at the time. But this is not a one off, they were definitely available in stores.

I totally agree silent alarm the AFL should have left the bears alone. I personally think that North and Fitzroy should have merged. What about you
If North and Fitzroy Merged maybe we wouldn't have won back to back flags in 97/98.. im glad things happened the way they did.

One I haven't read about on here (great site BTW) is the jumpers Adidas struck for the 1983 season .... every club had three stripes (in appropriate colours) down the sides of the jumper. Wished I had taken photos but it was top secret at the time. Deal with the VFL fell thru.

Wow! So ala the 2016 Euro strips (like this extremely camp, shitty promo picture?)

I wonder what year Adidas sponsored South Fremantle heavily? Souths had a massive 'Adidas' written across the front of the stomach (and I think across the bottom of the numbers? And player names were at the top. Or the other way around. Regardless...)? If it was 1983 it'd make some sense.

Unrelated but it's funny that Diego Costa's in the image with the Euro cup because Costa was Brazilian when Spain won Euro 2012 :drunk:
