Was not suggesting anything just voicing my long held opinion. If i was to surmise id say when Hardwick says that he may well be correct but in no way does that mean we are a top 4 team or even a cert to make the 8.
If the coach thinks that id say hes deluded like so many others.

even if its not a good list (thats coming from Mopsy, bloke who rates everyones list as being better than ours) it is still better than the list he had when he arrived, even 2-3 years ago.

WTF i have rarely spoken about other teams lists, amazing the ability of some to read other peoples minds .

Hmm what did i say about our list oh yes and it has been constant, we have a decent best 22 that is capable of competing with most other sides.
We will finish somewhere between 7th - 14th . That is make the 8 if all goes well and if a few things go wrong slide. If we have a horror run with injuries i would not be surprised to see a bottom 2 finish.
In short our best 22 is middling imo and we fall away after that equating to a very shallow and weak overall list.Just my opinion and nothing to get upset about.

Perhaps he is referring more to the list age profile? There are some glaring gaps (perhaps the cream we are adding?) and a lot of "potential". Could also be referring to the list in terms of the position players were originally drafted which goes back to potential.
End of the day I think it is/was a throw away line to a question which has come back to haunt him giving the media and his critics something to hang him on, particularly when we aren't going well.

we do it no more or less than other clubs.

We just notice it more because we are richmond supporters, we dont take notice of other clubs as much.

If you became a Geelong supporter tomorrow for a year, you would notice they do it just as much
