What's worse is it looks like nothing has changed since last year. Like I could believe that the backend of 2024 and 2025 were all the same season.

Unless Justin comes out and says what his game plan is . we have no idea except by guessing

One week they get blasted for over handballing , the next the fans blast them for keeping in hope to forwards. which is the game plan you referring to?

The reason we lost 6 in a row. is less of game plan. but more a lack of coach with disciple.

Some guys are not fit physically this season - Bolton (yes, that’s right, he’s not fit) Ryan, Cox, and some guys are just no good mentally this season - Sharp, Amiss, Draper, Freddy, and then some guys absolutely go to water when the game is on the line, Erasmus, Johnson, Banners, Voss.

All in all, the list is not as good as we all think and JL has made some horrific errors in the coaching box.

We deserve to be 0-2.

Watched the presser as I always do. He’s lost all respect from me. Blames the kids for getting caught up in the moment when discussing the loss. What world is he living in? Older players let us down today. After having a pop at Reid last week as well. I’m genuinely furious.

Ahh Freo never change. Finally get a half decent list in a good age demographic and we get a coach that can’t coach. And none of this “played finals in 2022” shit. A) that was 2 years ago and B) the league underestimated our team. C) the league and game plans have evolved and we haven’t. D) teams have worked out _ Freo + pressure = H2O

I want to answer the workmate question of "Who do you follow in the AFL " with pride. My standard answer is " I'm a long suffering Freo supporter" It aint fun.

Why is it that Leon Cameron, who took his team to finals in 5 of his 8 full seasons there, including prelims and a GF, can step down/get sacked after essentially one poor season but we have to be stuck with JL who has had one season with a positive winning record. Why are we so flacid.

Are we honestly back to hoping we play 4 quarters of football? In year 6? This isn’t a pop at you but I genuinely can’t deal with this line of thinking. We need to expect more than that if we ever want to win the flag.

He's just completely cooked them over the offseason. We have actually played some fantastic football over the last few years. That finals year, 75% of last year...

Enough to think if he just gets a young list playing more consistent then we have a great shot but they have clearly ****ed it over the preseason. The players are confused and hesitant with ball in hand at best and scared at worst.

Think it’s not having Young, Darcy, Switkowski. Solid experienced players.

The midfield is suffering.

The backline isn’t fresh as Pearce as been typically injured most pre season.

The forward line is so inexperienced. Shai Bolton comes in that. Add in Sturt and Walter’s are injured.

Waaaaaay too chummy with the board. Never should've gotten that early extension last year. Should've earned it. Same this year. We'll finish bottom 4 and they'll still find a way to keep him.

At the very least they won't even consider the sack for as long as they can use player injuries as an excuse.

It’s the difference between a club like Collingwood who wants to be successful at any cost, and a club like Freo who are comfortable with being mediocre forever.
