Bcs it was after the siren kick punch out is already next play...doesn't countConsidering it is a legitimate behind I would assume it counted.

The guy literally solo rucked almost the entire game, if there is one guy that can be forgiven for being completely gassed late, it is Jackson. On the Jackson not getting back point, I noticed for quite a bit of the second half that he wouldn't get forward either. There is always a ruckman on the line when a shot is being taken and I remember thinking multiple times "where the hell is Jackson?". I don't know if he was gassed or not but he seemed to just want to stay between the arcs except when he was resting forward.
Always good to listen/watch analysis of a game and what they could of done better that might of won the game
Yep. Its these things that many don't see defensively and I don't think it's isolated to just this game. True tackling is important but other defensive acts like guarding space and corralling is also important. The guy literally solo rucked almost the entire game, if there is one guy that can be forgiven for being completely gassed late, it is Jackson.
The video is much more damning of the same players everyone is banging on about on here, Freddie and Sharp.
It also highlights that the late one on one Cox lost is such a massive over reaction on here, Stone is absolutely correct, the way the rest of the team is playing is making life so hard for the defenders. Absolutely unforgivable that Freddie is being stepped inside so easily.
The way tackle count is taken as the measure of defensive effort is frustrating. How is that Freddie allowed himself to get stepped? Because he shifted from coralling and keeping the runner along the boundary, to step into the oppo’s path and apply physical pressure. He went to tackle.Yep. Also we don't know who is told to tackle and who guards space. If they all went in for the tackle when it does come out there'd be so much free oppoThe way tackle count is taken as the measure of defensive effort is frustrating. Another analysis. Beat freo at the stoppage game and it exposes our backs especially 1v1
Same with the umpires. All the recalled bounces costing us the valuable seconds we needed for Amiss to take the mark.. Just an example of one of the silly small things we do as a collective that can cost us.
And this again is basically all coaching...
