However it isn’t just because Thiel is a billionaire it’s what his ideology is, he’s stated “I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible”.

What is meant by freedom? I think polling has shown us that people in the US - and it's seeping into the world - can't freely express their opinion and feel they can only do it in the ballot box.

Free speech =/= freedom from consequences.

Well even if this were true, for starters you probably shouldn't vote or advocate for someone who doesn't even respect the voter and the ballot counting if it goes against him.
