You thought wrong. Stating the protests were peaceful was nowhere near enough of a fig leaf to cover comparisons to how the KKK treats black people. If his point was that antisemitism and Islamophobia are wrong, he didn't need to mention the protests at all. He should have been absolutely, painstakingly clear what he was meaning if using such a comparison. It's on par with calling people Nazis.stating the protests as peaceful is the qualifier I would of thought.
So what? He made it clear which protests he was talking about.He also doesnt just focus on anti semitism but islamphobia as well. He aint picking sides in those comments.
