How many?

Quite a few. More than just the people in that video. Several million.

Some estimates suggest that it will be just under a quarter of the black population that will not vote for Kamala. This article breaks down some of the statistics a little further.

I was interested to see that not 100% of black people are voting for Kamala and I wondered why. This video explains that there are some reasons why.

Do you think that all black Americans should vote Democrat (Kamala in this election)?

There are many black Americans who have decided not to vote for Kamala Harris. I'll just leave this here for people to have a quick watch to see just one of the reasons why:

For starters, there's no evidence that harris knew of the situation of this mother and her daughter, even given the supposed document that has her name on it to arrest.

Was likely put in front of her to sign when she's involved in a myriad of other documents for her to sign.

Willing to bet IF she knew, she'd have more compassion than that, much more. Would be very bad pr for a DA to willing arrest someone in that situation.

The intent is to obviously target parents that willingly allow their kids truancy. Not single mums with handicapped kids.

Smells of those she employed has exploited these poor peoples situation and harris wasn't aware of it, given there's probably 10s of 1000s of truancy cases.

Not to mention, the video does provide evidence that arrests were extremely rare.

After that, it's just sound bites of harris being portrayed as the boogeyman out of context.

Not convinced.

All I said is that there are some black people who are not voting for Kamala, and that those people have their reasons.

Do you think that all black people should vote Democrat (Kamala, in this instance)?

Ok, so you're not endorsing the video, just putting up an observation. Fair enough.

As for your question, EVERYONE should vote for harris, because trump is no good for no one except the 1% of aholes.

People should vote for whoever they think will represent them best.

And unless you’re a rich white male that is clearly going to be Harris

For the record, I don't have a dog in this race. If I were a US citizen, I probably would've emigrated (to Perth, maybe) by now mainly because of all the gun violence and taxpayer money feeding the perpetual war machine rather than healthcare etc. I am an interested observer with a libertarian mindset (consenting adults do what you will provided you don't **** with the rights to safety and privacy of others).

I like to watch social trends and try to understand all the factors that lead to them and consider the implications.

Yes, mainly an observation...but the observation has factors that feed into it as well as interesting implications.

It's interesting that you both think that everyone should vote in the way you would...as in, you would presume to tell everyone who they should vote for. Put in other words, you are saying that anyone who would not vote for Kamala Harris and who is not Caucasian does not have the ability to reason for themselves (except rich self loathing assholes), and that all Caucasian people who would not vote for Kamala Harris are white supremacist, misogynists without the ability to reason for themselves (unless they are a rich arseh*le).

I concede that most people would want everyone to have the exact same political beliefs as they do, but if you think about that, where would the true diversity be if that worldview were to come to fruition? Would that not become a deafening and robotic echo chamber and lead to authoritarian control of the masses? The absence of at least one (but preferably, several viable) political counterpoints is dangerous because people make mistakes and so do groups of people. Even the Scandinavian countries have a range of political parties and political disagreements within the populace.

Anyway, this guy has an interesting take as a gay person. It seems not all gay people are voting Democrat either. Is he a self loathing moron? Or does it seem like he is considering things and coming to his own conclusions, even if they are disparate to your own? Maybe an ad hominem attack will be used, like "oh he is just another grifter." But to me, he seems genuine. And again, I do not necessarily endorse or agree with everything Amir here says, but it is at least interesting to me.

Preference isn't necessarily an endorsement, it's a preference, not a like.

Just like you've openly claimed your faults of harris.

Is it likely there's a mask and they secretly do like trump? Maybe, but we can only speculate.

Making accusations of 'you like trump', without evidence just discredits argument and gives those you oppose ammunition.

'I haven't endorsed trump, that's just you believing I do'

Well the common issue when someone says they prefer Trump over Kamala is they cant say why without resorting to Trump rhetoric. Its hard to not come to the conclusion they like Trump if there reasons are pure debunked garbage. The other conclusion I can make with no hesitation is that they condone sexual assault, racism and misogyny. Why did I come to that conclusion? because any other candidate in the history of the world in a western democracy would have been shredded by all as a disgrace and chased out of politics and into hiding. But not Trump? this is why he acts the way he does. He is enabled by deplorable people who dont give a shit about anyone but themselves.

Americans vote against their own best interests all the time. I’m not surprised by it anymore. Nor is it a particularly compelling argument.

I actually agree with your overall point, I just don’t think it applies to this election and these candidates.
