8 hours of sick leave is almost going to be needed, purely to stay in this thread all day.

can't be on for long periods of time due to real life, takes a couple hours to catch each time coming back
Chief's will be getting a new palatial estate somewhere after its over. :winkv1:

Elon the new kingmaker by the looks of it.
Rupert is dust.
I heard on the radio today (ABC of course} that the worst customer that a lawyer can have is one that comes to them and says:
"I have unlimited money, can you get me off all of my indictments?"
The lawyer relied:
"It doesn't work like that".
I can't even see Elon's Starlink helping Trump at this stage.

I do want people to walk me through how a deplorables comment hurt Hilary in 2016 or would hurt the Dems now.

Are those who hate them going to vote even harder than they are now?

Even though some have tried and been caught trying to do, they can’t vote more than once.

And in 2012 there were Mitt Romney's comments about the 47% of people who his job wasn't to worry about and that "I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

I think comments like these make voters feel insulted, even if they're not the ones being talked about, because they feel tarred with the brush of people being insulted. And even if not them, if you're an undecided, borderline apolitical voter but your good friend is a dyed in the wool Trump voter, you're not going to love hearing them being insulted by the other candidate when you know this person to be a good, loving person. It also seems incredibly petulant and thin-skinned from a ruling class at people who dare not support them.

Basically, you're not going to get anything positive out of insulting people who don't vote for you, so it's probably best avoided.

Congrats Kamala

The U.S. economy continued its expansion in the third quarter, growing at an annualized rate of 2.8 percent, and offering a spurt of good news for Vice President Harris just days before the election.
The latest gross domestic product report offers a snapshot of a robust economy that has remained steady following a 3 percent reading in the previous quarter, according to data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis released Wednesday morning.

When we talk about Trump's rhetoric though, those comments are a drop in the ocean.

Hillary lost in 2016 as she ran an awful campaign, skipping vital swing states and just assming they had it in the bag.
