Maybe not for your every day ma and pa Club end of year gigs... but for professional AFL players who have drummed into them from day 1 about appropriate behaviour and not to be caught doing anything stupid.

They may be professionals but that doesn't mean they won't do stupid stuff on end of season trips where lots of drinking is involved. It's probably one of the few times they get to let their hair down like normal people, as long as they aren't hurting other people or damaging property I don't see what's wrong with it.

Unfortunately in this day and age where people have cameras on phones, facebook, twitter, youtube etc it's getting harder for AFL players to do anything without the media and public finding out about it. Just look at the video of the Bulldogs players in Hong Kong, years ago no one would have found out about it but now it's front page news.
