The plan is he really wants to play again, but has been advised by Dr's not to play. I do believe that hes not that fit, but he does have quite good skills so we will wait and see.

Thanks mate. From what i gather he wasnt really that fit in Stanhopes last two flag seasons would i be correct? Played midfield but was mainly used as a cool head under pressure with great finishing skills and decision making? Never needed a great deal of pace or fitness due to his experience and skill

You still have to fill out and sign the clearance form. If the clearance has been lodged then he has obviously done the paperwork and wants to go.

Not any more. A club can request (and get) a clearance without anything being signed before the lodgement of the clearance. So he hasn't obviously done the paperwork. The clubs from which a clearance is requested no longer see any paperwork at all.

Mate the club where the player is coming from has never seen the paperwork, the fact is you cannot request a clearance without knowing a players personal details. Anyway good luck to the bloke he willl play where he wants.

As i said - not any more. To get a player cleared all i need to know is his surname and current club. I do not need to know his date of birth, christian name or address. A player can be cleared without even asking to be cleared. But where you are right is a little further on in the process. While cleared on the data base, that player suposedly doesn't have the ok to play until the league secretary has seen the signed clearance form. But that is not what we are arguing about. As for clubs where the player is coming from never seeing any paperwork, it wasn't that long ago where both clubs had to sign the clearance form. This still happens for interstate transfers.

See S.Hanson has been named tomorrow, even with cracked ribs, knowing Scotty I think he will still play but probably up forward.

Willy carved up for Tally today and won the Anzac Medal. It was funny, they called him Gavin Williams and he just stood there. Pissa!

the saturday night country footy scores wrap on southern cross said tally won by 15 points...whoever gave them that score must have a sense of humour. they've got a few KDFL scores wrong already this season - said nagambie lost last week.

I think you find that score for Tally game was reserves score not sen

Just a match report for Nagambie vs. VT. Was a fairly even contest in the 1st half, with VT jumping out of the blocks in the 1st to kick 3 of the 1st 4 and then a few silly freekicks given away by us allowed nagambie to peg it back before slowly grinding away to a 2 goal lead at halftime.
A couple of injuries to VT left us with one on the bench for the 2nd half both players had been getting plenty of the ball in the middle prior.
Thought Nagambie had 18 solid contributors for 4 quarters. Danny Haysom and no. 23 both on the half forward line were excellent and Ratray took some solid contested marks. Lloyd destroyed us off the half back line as did a little tanned fella with dark curly hair. Thought Nagambie won the match around clearing the ball from stoppages.
They're a good team and should definitely get a top 3 position this year.

Throw a blanket over the rest

Nagambie have recruited well, especially with Rattray and Fox. Take those two out and they are back with the pack.

went an had a look at gig and lanky yesterday in those terrible conditions. the wind was shocken all the play was on the scoreboard side for the whole day. lanky looed good when they moved the ball fast to there forwards. mitchell still looks really under done still but he will be dangerous in a few weekends. casey looks to have a good set of hands nd we all know what pell and eddy can do so i think if all four fire they are goin to be dangerous and then u throw in chilcott as well when he is avaible its goin to be pretty dangerous but at the end of the day they were only playing gig so they cant get ahead of there selfs. gig battled hard all day hanson is doin all the right things out there and i think they will benefit from the likes of himself and turpin with there younger blokes. all in all it looked like a terrible day to be playing footy.

anyone go see merrigum and rushy play?

Brent LeCerf.

Lloydy must be in vintage form dashing from half back!

4 new blokes on the track last night from Melbourne way... J.Colliss cleared last night!
good to see rushy still got there act together. terrible rooms, terrible ground, still wear a jumper from the 1900s, but recruiting blokes from melbourne to a team who will struggle to make the finals. makes sense???

Don't knock traditional.... individual jumpers.

I'd like to see Tally and Undera back in their old jumpers (Undera would clash with Stanny though).

Copying teams from AFL is crap.
