He didnt dob in a player as on that day Keego was only the runner.. So in my book justice has prevailed...

Mainland: what I was talking about was the other ardy player that went up from the same game who got booked mate!!!! He was hung out to dry by the VT player.... thats what im talking about not keego..... Keego shouldve copped 3-5weeks not the rest of the season...

So what you are saying is if you belted me and i got a broken nose and you got reported i should come to the tribunal and say i fell over and did it to myself ?? your a fool mate, play dirty cop what ya get even if the other player talks up. Im guessing in your circle of mates if one dobs on the other they might call him a Dog, but thats not Football is it ???

For starters mate it was a late hit which happens in any game of football!!!!
The VT player went into the hearing and just unloaded saying our play ran from our forward line with his elbow out and BANG he just hit me for no reason...
As for its not football...( U always try and help a player out at a hearing and then at the end of it you buy each other a beer) and if he broke you nose you say i carnt rememeber what happend... SAME GOES AT ANY CLUB... champ

If he was the runner and hit someone he was lucky to ONLY get the rest of the season it could have been alot worse

Users this is a football forum and all events involving football amongst the league, that involves this board, shall be discussed , however continual bickering/snipping of particular clubs without stating any facts and evidence of events, which isn't in the best interest of the league/club may be seen as trolling.
Everyone knows Ardmona hasn't got the greatest of reputations, rightly or wrongly for past incidents, but please remember that is in the past and the club is providing the opportunity for people to be involved in Australian Rules Football, I'm sure there is people , like in any club, would be offended by comments made upon here and also do a lot of unrewarded work.

What exactly was meant by PEZ CASH? Does he have his own currency? Or is it the loyalty of playing another year with Uncle/Cousin Perry?[/quote]

PEZ CASH MEANS: Perry knows how to spend and were to spend the cash.

Meeting at the shep swans turned to sh*t last night....

What happened? How many did you get?

My tips for round 8:

Stanhope v Murchison 44pts (stanhope will be looking to put on a good display after losing 2 of last 3)

Lancaster v Violet Town 8pts (upset on cards maybe..., wet weather and tails wagging hopefully get us across line)

Tallygaroopna v Merrigum 12pts (Merrigum seemed to have dropped off a little and Tally went okay against stnahope and lancy)

Rushworth v Avenel 46pts (Avenel are struggling)

Ardmona v Nagambie 16pts or 56pts (16pts if Rachelle and A. Mekka rumours are true and 56pts if not)

Girgarre v Undera 92pts (top vs. bottom, long day for Gig)

My tips for round 8:

Stanhopev Murchison 6pts (Stanhope is'nt the team it used to be and the heads are down, so Murch will win in an upset.)

Lancaster v Violet Town 50pts (Lanky far too good fot V.T, they did well to get a win against Stanhope but won't come close in this one.)

Tallygaroopna v Merrigum 25pts (I think Tally are underrated they have some good young blokes with a mix of experience. Merrigum have dropped away but saying that they will be hard too shake off in the first half.)

Rushworth v Avenel 15pts (Rushy's kids are better then Avenel's)

Ardmona v Nagambie 65pts (I rate Nagambie as the benchmark closely followed by Undera and they will be too good for the cats)

Girgarre v Undera 100+pts (Gig are no good. But Hopefully they can score.)

Mate he walk out of the 1st hearing due to VT wanting to play the video they had of the fight, which has to be submitted in writing 5days before the hearing and not on the night of the hearing.

And also to all the other clubs BAR (VT) I would like to wish you luck if you ever get reported playing against VT as the PLAYERS CODE MEANS NOTHING TO THAT CLUB!!!!

NUMBER 12 FROM VT IS A BLOODY GIVE UP AND SHOULD NOT BE PLAYING FOOTY HE SHOULD BE AN INFORMER FOR THE COPS....WHAT EVER HAPPEND TO HELPING GET ANOTHER PLAYER OFF AND THEN OWE HIM A BEER LATER........:mad:

You need to get the facts right, read the VCFL handbook and it states that the video evidence needs to be in the hands of the KDFL 24 hrs before the hearing date, not 5 days as you think. As for the players code, you blokes need to have a look at the way you play the game,I saw the incident on video and the player should have got 8 weeks,if the elbow had've been a bit more flush then the player would not have played another game for the rest of the year.

You seem to know alot about what happened at the hearing, were you at the tribunal?

Any word on how serious Rattray's injury is?

X-rays confirmed no break (ankle) but expected to have done some ligament damage. Will have an MRI this week to find out the extent of the injury but first assessment has him missing 3-4 weeks. Hopefully it doesn't keep the big fella sidelined for too long as he's been in some good form in the early part of the season.

What was the story this week with Stanhope ,how many missing this time

hahahahaha:D GREAT CALL (they must have had the netballers in this week thats how many they had out).....:D
On the way down Stanhope are.....

From Murch i think x-ardy boy D.Freeman is for a big show for the league medal playing some great footy......

Apparently if Hooda played they were full strength, that was the word before the game, story may have changed afterwards. Stanhope didn't look too interested in the hard ball, thats where the game was won with Murch winning contested possesions. Backline performed a massive job also..

Creates a real log jam for 4th and 5th spots now..

D. Freeman travelling well as our only ruck option, settled into the job so much that he bought a new shin guard...

I believe that was our best side forget the missing players crap yes you are right there are a lot of players just not interested for one reason or another but all due respect murch wanted it more and deserved to win Congradulations and Freo duz look a big chance hope he duz well

match report for VT vs. Lancy

Lancy had us covered right from the get-go. They kicked the first goal pretty much 5 seconds into the 1st and the 2nd 30seconds later (both kicked my opponent Eddy....I could sense then I was in for a good day). They kicked 8 goals to our 1 in the 1st and other than our second quarter efforts to get it back to 5 goals at one stage we were never in the hunt. We didn't play our best footy I thought and out of all the teams we've played so far which includes naggaz and undera I rate them the best. Probably our only shining light for the day was young 17yr old Corks tagging Burnett and getting the better of him. Lancy used the ball extremely well to deliver it up forward. Thought R. Mitchell was a stand out along with Eddy who shoulda probably had ten goals but he missed a heap and passed a few off within striking range.

Hey crocket17 how are ya buddy, looks like the no crocket no murch theory has been thrown out the window?? the hoppers are back?? How.s that mathew hodgetts playing is he in runner up form again????:D:thumbsu::cool::thumbsdown:

9.8-62 Ardmona def. by Nagambie 20.11-131

17.15-117 Lancaster def. Violet Town 9.3-57

12.16-88 Rushworth def. by Avenel 14.5-89

6.9-45 Stanhope def. by Murchison 7.14-56

2.2-14 Girgarre def. by Undera 18.16-124

The results of the Tallygaroopna and Merrigum game haven't been posted, does anyone have the results? You would think Merrigum would've had to win if they want to be a chance of seeing any finals action in 2009...

Going alright giveitawash, loving life as a cripple, i never heard the theory about no crocket no Murch, seems they're better off without me but you knew that already haha... M. Hodgetts was in stunning form first half against Stanhope, didn't handle the tagger (16 yr old) in the second half, rumours of his lack of pace this year may be right??

Goal kicking practice for your mob this week? 9.16 is horrible, or was Katunga's pressure that good?
