It's not exactly breaking news as it was in the Benalla Ensign a fortnight ago, but Hayden Lamaro was saying he believes VT will actually be stronger than this year... And they've signed an (allegedly) dominant ruckman, which they never had this year;

"The Towners have lost premiership pair Dale Saddington and Ben Tsakmakis (Whittlesea), but gained Pascoe Vale ruckman Josh Williams and Benalla All-Blacks stars Kane Dockery and Mick Wright."

Yeah was in the Shepp news a few weeks back as well, they've also lost Brendan Gleeson to Whittlesea, if Tarrant is true that would be a massive coup for VT as well as the league, would bring plenty through the gate. I know I would pay to see him.

Seen a copy of the 2013 draw on the weekend, there are 3 Sunday games for the year.

Vt play in all 3 of them and play them all at home!!! I know players are not that keen on playing sunday footy but it is a good way for the home club to make extra funds with bigger gate and food and bar sales for the day.

I could understand if they were block buster games but they play Tally Merrigum Ardy:confused:

Have heard James Fraser has left Stanhope, trying his luck at Tatura
Yeah Jimmy had pretty much made up his mind that he was going to Tat in 2013 at the start of this season. As for Al Young he wont have any idea what he is doing until after the new year. OS trip might be on the cards during next season which would keep Stanhope in the mix otherwise would expect him to be at a GV club(might be a couple in front of Tat) or Tongala.

Yeh it is one of those things, the town has the market every 2nd saturday of each month and as it is at the footy ground the games need to be played away or the sunday

Some big recruits heading out tally way with new coach mahoney! Kane handley, dylan sheppard, tom hanning,adam serafini all shepp east premiership players and also a few more on the go the redlegs will be up and about for 2013! Also heard murch have thrown the cheque book out and got Chris cullinan and ganino from h,berg (previously shepp, shepp east) and to go with that anthony mellington, micheal hare, luke chapman all from heathcote!! Really has the top 5 teams next year to be high quality but very concerning the games like vt v long or ardy! i reckon whelan will break his own record next yr

Any other clubs have any signings or deletions yet ?? Arty ? Undera ? Tigers ? Nagambie ? Surely some clubs have !!!!!

That will hurt Stanhope a bit they seem to have lost quite a few at this stage with a few going to shep east as well

Agreed - looks like the gap is widening rapidly between the top 4/5 - to the rest

2nd through to 10th was as even as they come in 2012. Not too sure about this breakaway top 5.

I have to agree at this stage... it's not as though there's been massive a exodus at these clubs (that we know of).

from what everyone is saying (re: recruits and exits) it would appear that there will be a gap, maybe it'll be top 1 (VT) next 4 teams, then a gap to the bottom teams, however it is November and we dont start till April so plenty of chances to change everyone's minds

re: murch i reckon you might have missed a couple ;)

About time some KDFL clubs start spending money on their facilities instead of on players!! Not many KDFL clubs have good facilities - a reported $800 per game for the Murch recruits - $50k could certainly go a long way in fixing up their changerooms which really are below standard!!

hey guys, new poster to this thread and the Goulburn Valley.. what are Lanky like? thinking of having a kick this year...
