Thommo might as well take his week next week if that's the caseHere's one for the academics. At the most recent KDFNL Tribunal a Lancaster and Nagambie player were both given two week suspended sentences and allowed to play this week. The bad news is this can't happen -
If the case is heard by the Tribunal or Area Appeals
Board and a player is found guilty of an offence
(as outlined in 1 or 3) the player may receive the
one match set penalty as a minimum (suspended
sentences can only be provided for if the one match
set penalty is applied - ie. player found guilty and
suspended for 3 matches for striking with 2 matches
suspended, player to serve 1 match).
Straight from the 2015 handbook.
