Got done by 5 goals I think. Had 8 out and Maso re injured his hammy in the first contest(Effectively 9). Positives out of it were that 2 thirds boys had the chance to play there first match of senior football and could hold there heads high. Were far from disgraced. Take nothing away from Murch's win though, they moved the ball well and had key players on every line. Chapman up fwd kicked 6 I think and will trouble alot of backlines. Based on todays win and a narrow loss to the gum I'd suggest Murch won't slide much at all.

Correct, Brett Anderson. Very talented kid who has plenty of pace, goes hard at the ball and loves a tackle, which was evident even in the senior game. Other kid was Tanner Stokes who only just turned 17. Neither looked overawed by the occasion and will be better for the run. Both should have plenty of senior football ahead of them. Both boys also played a full game of thirds in the morning so should sleep well tonight
Does that mean that Stanhope are travelling that well that kids need to double up???

Knew you'd be onto it Hank. It's tough when the Reserves aren't up to it but if the Thirds do play seniors they shouldn't be on the ground after half time in the early game. That said, one young bloke still gives it to me for dragging him at quarter time in the Thirds after he'd kicked six. Reckons he'll never get a shot at ten majors in a game again!
That would be a nightmare wouldn't it? Where does the investigator go to seek evidence? Where does he or she start? Who do they and don't they interview? Tough gig for natural justice if it goes to a tribunal. Rule 5.2 permits anyone to request an investigation if they stump up $500.00 but like I said, the League doesn't do it.

All I can say is stanny had, waggs, McCurry, Hoota, Somerville, gemmil, young, forys, out and maybe a couple more.. Know excuse but geez 7 out if ya best 10 must hurt In any club hey.. !!!
