Yeah didn't play last year mate.. Could of played a few the year b4 at Nathalia maybe not to sure tho..Just out of curiosity normo, when was the last time gemmill played. He didnt play last year did he??
Very good assessment. Big Paddy is such an obstacle for back lines to get over. Although thought Orr did a fair job when moved on to him. 7 goals and a winning forward is nice to have. Will again look for a 100 goal plus season. My viewings from weekend
No lee.. Didn't see Kayrooz even tho he was cleared there.. Big man at Lanky getting beat and went down so did Meka. Josh Komi for us did a hammy late no Haysom (brother of) barbs best ruck in the comp. Said we would win by 5 goals and won by 22. Lapse in the 3rd cost us, pricey and shielsy cut them up. Very happy with our result with such little match practice.
Oh yeh and Paddy Rattray tore Lankys back half a newy
Although Lanky did show glimpses in the 3rd that their midfield can gel and work well together. Backline seems shaky though

Cleared from VT to Lancy the other weekWho is kayrooz?
Who is kayrooz?
I heard a Lancy supporter say after the game "as much as I hate to say it, I reckon we really missed Clarke (smooth mover) today". True Story!
Any good?Just another grub.
Only kidding about him being a grub Snowflake, he's a ripping bloke & can play.Any good?
Never heard of him mate, is he a Melbourne bloke?Only kidding about him being a grub Snowflake, he's a ripping bloke & can play.
Beautiful left footer, I'd say he'd be suited across half back but would be just as useful on a wing or half forward.
Never heard of him mate, is he a Melbourne bloke?
Sounds like he turned up a year too late.Yeah he is a Melbourne boy, The Arkitect got him to VT in 2013 so has obviously talked him into playing at the Wombats. I don't think he played anywhere last year.

Here's one for the academics. At the most recent KDFNL Tribunal a Lancaster and Nagambie player were both given two week suspended sentences and allowed to play this week. The bad news is this can't happen -
If the case is heard by the Tribunal or Area Appeals
Board and a player is found guilty of an offence
(as outlined in 1 or 3) the player may receive the
one match set penalty as a minimum (suspended
sentences can only be provided for if the one match
set penalty is applied - ie. player found guilty and
suspended for 3 matches for striking with 2 matches
suspended, player to serve 1 match).
Straight from the 2015 handbook.
Great opportunity for the opposing sides to launch appeals if these blokes play and the sides they play in win. Pretty simple, all there in black and white.Yeah I was of the understanding that if you chose to not take the one week set penalty and then get found guilty then you cannot escape suspension

Spot on Woody. not a new rule either, two cases I know about, last time I had the pleasure of sitting in the KDL Kangaroo court in 2011 I was found guilty and we asked for a suspended sentence but the panel said sorry but our hands are tied, once found guilty you must receive at a minimum the set penalty for the offence (1 week). In another case in the GV, think from memory it was Tim Looby, was found guilty but given a reprimand, a couple of days later this ruling was brought up and the tribunal decision was subsequently overruled and he was given a week. I believe this will now have to happen in this case also. Here's one for the academics. You are spot on , should not happen . Was the set penalty offered ?
I'd suggest leagues would administer league independent tribunals wouldn't you ark ?Who runs the Picola league tribunal Roar? They are a joke as well.
