I agree sidey would absoulutely dominat the league medal,hes a great player,its good hes playing 3rds more regularly now, a big plus for the swannies

Haha yeh. Yea certainly wont have their best side this week, nowhere near it with afew of the boys back to their school footy committments unfortunately, and i cant see us getting near the flying towners.
Senior ladder positions are taken into account when doing the finals locations, well that has been the case before this year anyway.

A coulpe of teams still in the hunt for finals in Lancaster and Avenel, who coicidently play each other this week. If Lanky do lose this and next week againt VT they are still in contention but with a low % thats unlikely.

I believe Stanhope and Avenel are the teams to beat. Ardmona should be respected because their coach this year wont take any crap from his players and he controls the drop kicks, but they don't have the depth. VT had a day out against Stanhope, but they have three guys that do most of the work. Lancaster have been missing some players, but they are at least ten goals behind the leaders. Nagambie is the unknown. I actually think Undera are better tha them.

Rushworth vs Murchison - .....18 goals
Stanhope vs Girgarre - Stanhope will use this as a training game, 12 goals

just posting stanhope gig results.
stanhope won by 130 odd points, gig were worthless, every single players has more of a ego than football abilty, they played like under 12's, had no structure to there side and therefore stanhope run all over them, only respectable perfomer for gig was kane wheelhouse. b8ut still for only one player to stand out really shows how crappy they played and are.

Yea vs Violet Town...
VT ended up winning by a fair but but it really isnt in contrast in my opinion. Most if the game was played in a 12 on 16 dogfight. The conditions made it much harder along with a waterlogged pill. Abley had a ton of it, Corks also played well along with Doyle. We knew that we couldnt match VT for their pace and run so we really concentrated on being physical and putting our head over the ball but James Ryan took it a little far and got himself a red card and will most likely miss afew weeks from suspension.

yeah well done on the lakers beating ardy, seems like it would have been a great game, not too many surprises other than that, all games were decided by over 100 points, thought gig might have given stanhope a bit of a run, but stanny jst flexing their muscle and pulled away in the second kicking 9.1. We still wont know if Avenel or Lanky will play finals footy, Lanky if things go right for them are still eligable, Avenel half a game out are very possible of making it, Undera and Avenel both have 3 games that they should win, the other games could decide who plays or not, nagambie have pretty much assured themselves a finals spot, who they play still depends on other games, but we should see positions 3, 4 and 5 be consolidated in the coming weeks
