2010 finished
2011 Last year With Hall

2012 With Hall gone we will see Grant slip in at FF this might be the right time to move Lake back Forward, with Cordy and Roughead playing ruck/Forward

2013 Could be lake's last year, and touch wood Williams (120 odd games) Grant and Jones (60-75 games)

given that we have Lake till the end of 2013, we have time to see if Willaims and Jones can hold down CHB and FB
I remember when Lake signed his 4 yr deal ,Eade had said in the interview in the paper that week that Lake could go on for a couple yrs after that hope he can will be a big loss when he goes

I read the article, seems the lateness of the Hawthorn late offer was being blamed. Nonetheless, realistically we had nought to offer, hence, it was a pipedream. We'd like the top ranked TAC player too, but we don't have #1 pick either. My point remains, he is unproven (as are any non AFL recruits) thus, cannot be lauded as the guaranteed solutions to any perceived weaknesses. The way some folks go on in here you'd think this guy was a Wayne Carey re=incarnate..;) Same type of nonsensical dreaming pre draft week when folks in here suggesting we "get them all" regarding the media suggestions of who we were chasing.

I am very happy with out trading results, with the exclusion of losing Everitt but retaining Hill. I know which one I'd prefer prefer, and think Andrejs will be the perfect "sub" under the new rules.
