That's the life he chooses to live and he isn't hurting anyone else by doing so. If he wants to try and find someone who wants to share that lifestyle, good luck to him.

Better than the condescending experts telling him that he needs the opposite of that in his life. I'd rather be a straight edged gym junkie with two jobs than an unemployed, delusional 30 something, who lives with her mother and wants to travel on someone else's dollar.
Re: the first para - don't like his chances.

Yes the 'experts' are a joke.

Each to their own. If those were the only two options available I'd choose the delusional bum.

yep red flag. All about image, appearance and control
aka Narcissism, but I guess some people just think that's OK cos he left when he was meant to. let's not forget he couldn't tell her he was a stripper up front, it took him several days to work up the courage. He is looking for an accessory, someone who just makes him look good, not for an actual real person.

I respect that he left when he was supposed to. But his lifestyle looked so boring and unliveable to me. Straight-edge. Gets up, works, works out, sleep, repeat. Dinner is white rice and steamed veggies. Wants a wife who is a fitness freak like him and weighs 55kg IIRC. Just don't think he'll ever get anyone with those standards. Oh and they'd have to be cool with his stripping too.

does work include stripping? haha

Can you blame him? She reacted very negatively to it.

the commitment ceremonies could be time better spent on something else. seriously dull and pointless stuff, apart from the schadenfreude you hope for when only one part of a pair wants to stay.
don't mind couples hanging around if they don't think their relationship will last, or have no intention of making it last. they're playing along with the joke that was their match-ups. no reason why they should take the experiment seriously if the producers don't.

Good point. Whole thing is a farce. At least the US version makes them get married for realsies.

Then he should've owned it, been up front on the wedding day, and showed her it's a non issue to him. That he's proud of what he does and who he is. But by not telling her until a few days into the honeymoon, he made it something sleazy because he was too ashamed to to be honest about it, and it made her feel he had been lying to her. Her reaction was natural.

I have nothing against him being a stripper personally, many good people make their living in adult entertainment.

Because it's still something that holds a lot of stigma in society. Look at Cheryl, she hasn't disclosed her past in adult entertainment at all.

Nick got the third degree just for going to them!
