Kirk a worthy winner of Swan's B&F

Great news well done Kirky you champion!
Kirk is a battler who gets the most out of himself and has improved his football every year for the last 4. Hall is a better and more important player though. I think Kirk's disposal often leaves a bit to be desired.
Couldn't disagree with any of those awards.
BTW is Craig Bolton the single most under-rated player in the AFL?
I don't think he's been beaten in three years, but despite that, most football fans only have a passing knowledge of him as the 'other Bolton' from the Swans.

spot on there. He's been the invisible man in AFL since he played for Brisbane. I was down in Melb for the Prelim, and caught the replay in a housefull of Bombers fans, there seemed to be a lot of shock in the group about how well he'd kept Reiwoldt out of the game.

Does anyone think that Kirk and BBB should get joint captaincy next year? It would be fitting.

I don't want to sound bitter but to have kirk winning the best and fairest of the premiership team is a disgrace. Good honest footballer who gets the most out of himself at best. Is definately not is the star category.
What's next? Maybe the bombers will take the flag with peverill the B&F
or collingwood and J.Coloke

Perhaps for the Bombers, Collingwood or Blues to win the premiership then one of those players will stand up. I guarantee if one of those clubs win the premiership next year with Peverill, Cloke or Prendergast as the B&F, they will be cheering longer and harder than anyone.
I guess Scotty West shouldn't win the B&F because he is a good honest footballer who gets the best out of himself...

Inspirational. And extremely talented. Just not flash, and keeps a low profile. The very reason he is so successful is because so many coaches and players keep classing him in the "good honest footballer" class. Then he towels them up.

You don't win a premiership with 7 or 8 soft as butter midfielders like the Dee's have.

Yeah at least the demons have some class. The swans are a joke. The only reason they won the flag is because West Coast fell over. (Braun, Kerr, Koschitzke, hamill)

No room for kirk in our midfield with johnstone, mclean, moloney, bruce, green, sylvia. You gotta be able to kick a footy to get a game for us.

Does it matter they have the medallions and the cup to prove they were the best team in 2005. Nothing you say is going to change that in the record books. Kirk is a gun and any time Sydney want to trade him he is more than welcome to come to Richmond. Bit rich some of the comments fro the Dee's supporters considering the bang they made when they went out. Did not even hear a yelp, what a waste when the dogs could have made it instead.
