Knight a hard player to replace

Looked bad and I feel for the guy but it could have been worse for the guy and for the team.

He's been a very good shot at goal for us but to me looked a tad slow. I think we can find a replacement without throwing our team out of whack.

4-6 weeks would be great especially after how bad it looked when he did it, he deserves a break after all the injury problems he has had.

You're not wrong TCT.

Was good to see him on the bench in the second half and amongst the players for the song.

Was playing quite well too the last few weeks so hopefully he has a speedy recovery :thumbsu:

If the dislocation is his first then he might get away with a 4-6 recovery. If it is a recurrent event he will need longer rehab and sometimes a stabilisation operation. This is only if it is very unstable. A patellar dislocation is highly unlikely to be associated with internal knee derangement such as ACL or meniscal damage.

I feel sorry for Chris Knights. He was very unlucky injuring himself kicking for goal. How many players have done that? I hope Chris has a speedy recovery.

All Crows supporters are hoping for the best possible news

Knighta is all class and left the club with every crows supporters best wishes and it's been a pleasure watching him over the past month start to get his mojo back and enjoying his footy

Hopefully it's not serious and we see him back soon kicking some long goals with that great left leg of his

Best wishes Knighta

i read somewhere that he snapped his patella TENDON, which if true is absolutely terrible, its comparable to rupturing your Achilles .... im praying to god that is not the case because i have loved his work so far this year

I think having Melbourne next week would be a great opportunity to get a look at Edwards on a HFF!
With axel back in and Cotch aswell we don't lose any midfield rotations so I'd give Aaron a run!
In saying that Vickery should come back into the side so it would be stiff to drop Big O so maybe just knights and Nahas out - Cotch and Vickery back in!

I dislocated my elbow a couple of years back (snowboarding). I snapped the ligaments all around the joint as well as breaking a bone.

I have to look away when they show the replays of these kind of injuries because I know the pain associated with them is immense.

I hope for his sake, there's no ligament or bone damage. It looked like it went back into place after the initial dislocation so fingers crossed that's a good thing. My arm took 3 lots of surgery and 4 months in a brace to get it to stay in place. Knees and elbows are obviously different as is every injury so fingers crossed.

A great proportion of my BF posts were made during the time I spent injured, typing one handed quite often high on painkillers. I reckon I did some of my best work although I haven't gone back to actually check on that.

Good luck with the rehab Knighta!

Gutted for Knights and you guys. One of my favorite players. Having watched him from his 1st game in SA to now, I strongly believe his best is elite.

sucks so much. He was starting to really find some form and then the worst of luck. Hopefully its only a dislocation and we get him back in around 6 weeks to once again find some form and help us in our run to try and break our finals drought. Having a player of his calibre out is not ideal.
