There is no way St Kilda will get 2 first rounders for him, you dont really think he is in the same category as Ablett? If it was Reiwoltd going then yes 2 first rounders, but Kosi? Late first rounder is probably the best use can wish for since he isn't in that top category and his age (someone said turning 29 next year) will defintly count against use. 2 frst rounders were for either someone in Ablett's category, or someone like a Boak who his young and will have alot of money thrown at him.

yes, because playing for essendon he would have had the same amount of opportunities, delivered with the same amount of efficiency that he got at the saints last year.

I think Longmire was a reasonable step up from Kosi but I see your point. Gold Coast would likely offer up a fairly good draft pick and I reckon the saints might look at it, especially if there were some good key position talent on offer.

Saints fans have known that Kosi is a capable player rather than a star for years.

Basically since about his head knock against the Dogs. Has not been the same palyer since...plus also the way modern footy is played.

Asa key forward he is a useful second tall.

Asa ruckman he is an ok back-up, but not a number one player.

Anyone seen what the young Rucks are like for the first couple of years.
OK there are the freak's Nicnat, and to a lesser extend Kruizer, who are OK strait out of the box.
Kozi though would be a better ruck option than the likes of Vickery, Lobbe, Stanley, Bellchambers.
He would certainly be useful to the GC for a couple of years until their recruits build up, and he wouldn't cost them an arm and a leg. And he does have some versatility to play forward.
Some have even speculated that he would be OK in a back line, though he'd be hard pressed to get a try there with the Saints line up.
