Pickett launches both feet off the ground and collects Smith flush in the head with a forearm. Smith bounces straight up, but if the AFL is serious about protecting the head and in light of the looming litigation regarding concussion, Pickett might be facing a lengthy stint on the sidelines.

Kossie 'The Human Torpedo' Pickett - Absolutely stupid decision to launch yourself off the ground and bump an opponent on the head/chin. Smith was very lucky he was not knocked out. Dumb thing to do regardless, but even more so with the spotlight on concussion and the long term impact of head injuries. Hopefully they wake up and not take the easy way out and consistently grade dangerous actions as outcome based only. That wont change the initial action unless they clearly stamp it out. Deserves 3 to 4 weeks at a minimum.
