So are you happy for him to go to the PSD? Looks like it could happen.
That's a win for everyone. Adelaide pretend they're big and tough, Sydney have a great chance to get him for free

Question is would he take the risk of not getting home to Sydney. Brings every other club with cap space into the equation.

Well good for them. He'd be a great luxury to have, but we refuse to be bent over on the trade table on an uncontracted player. If the Crows want to play hardball and end up losing him for nothing, then that's their call. Have fun with Angus Graham as his replacement. :)

Yep, and you enjoy Jesse.

not the 2013 flag mind you...

Can anyone add any cred to the Parker to Carlton for Pick 11 and swaps? Could this form part of a reasonable trade?

Not being an ass but only seen it on Adelaide board and then Carlton as a response. Not chatter on our end about it

Presumably Sydney/Tippett would have considered that a possibility prior to entering into negotiations with Adelaide.
Tippett's management would have a fair idea of the level of interest in KT and Sydney would have a good grasp of the salary cap space available at other clubs.
If Sydney choose not to increase their offer (assuming #23 is the current offer) and allow Tippett to go into the draft then it would not be unreasonable to assume that Sydney would have a fairly good expectation of selecting him.

Clubs must not only have the saalry cap space, but enough interest to effectively commit themselves to a 4 year multi-million deal for KT.

It should also be remembered that this trading/draft period should not be looked at in isolation.
For example each year from now on players are going to be available as restricted free agents.
As I understand it Franklin & J.Riewoldt will become eligible to be RFAs at the end of next season. If a club such as Carlton has spare salary cap space they may well choose to hold fire until next year and try to coax Riewoldt away from Richmond rather than commit to a player in Tippett who has made it clear he wants to go to a different club in a non AFL environment.

According to the Herald Sun Parker has been ruled out

He doesn't even need to go to the psd, if Adelaide take the high road and not trade him the swans will get him at 23 in the nd.. No way any club will risk using a pick that his higher than 23 to select a player on presumably 800k a year and doesn't want to play there. If he goes to the draft he will 99.9% go to syd.. The 0.1% is that if another club gets their numbers mixed up and accidentally selects him.... In saying all that, that is why Adelaide will accept the deal next Friday , they know hel land at swans no matter so they might aswell accept their generous offer of pick 23

It was labeled as a 'serious infraction'. And to be honest, those sort of infractions more often than not come from posting racist remarks and nude pictures etc....

New ranking system since the upgrade, you start at the first serious and progress through levels.
First serious equals 1 week, etc.
Leaves a trail for other mods to see\follow.

For mine, he won't end up in the draft. Here's why:

Can you imagine Adelaide supporters if Tippett walked to any club for nothing? It would be similar as us losing Jolly a few years ago for nothing. Will not happen. A pick and a player is compensation that can be sold to supporters. Nada is nada. Zip. Sticking to ones principles won't help find Kurt's replacement.

For Sydney, the play is that either we land Kurt in a trade, or we succeed in driving up the price paid by a rival in the draft. Either way we win, even if we don't end up with KT.
