But what is the point of ranking the league what difference does it make to anybodyPlaying for last next year
Playing for last next year
Regardless of the result and who didn't make themselves available, a big congratulations has to go out to those who did play!! It is a great experience and achievement to represent your league and something to be proud of!!It's hard to put the best team on the park when the best players won't play. The kdnfl needs to do something about it or for get about interlegue all together.
Time to give it the arse.. Pretty ordinary this year in preparation and commitment.. It's either 100% or don't worry abt it at all.. Unlike the 3rds they want to play inter league and the best footy they can and not pull out coz of being a bit sore.. And showed on Saturday with a good win..Regardless of the result and who didn't make themselves available, a big congratulations has to go out to those who did play!! The organisation of this years squad was the disappointing thing IMO! Guys finding out they were selected in the initial squad on Facebook and not being made aware of training schedule is not good enough!!! Each player should of been contacted by coaching staff/selection committee a lot earlier than last Friday night...

What was done differently this year in the preparation leading up to yesterday's game This time last year there was aTime to give it the arse.. Well for starters the coach didn't didn't communicate this year with the players.. And if your only going to get 8 at first training 10 at 2nd training and on Thursday b4 the game had maybe 13.. U arnt going to be competetive at all.. Time for the league to put some money into it and give players fuel vouchers or something or get a ex AFL player to take the trainings and get a bit more professional abt it all.. That's only my opinion..What was done differently this year in the preparation leading up to yesterday's game This time last year there was a
Lot of hype about the game every one was excited about the whole thing and we got the result we wanted why last year and not this year was the same effort put in by the coaches to the respective clubs !!
They were playing last year to win otherwise they would of been the last league on the rankings sheet which I don't they were happy to be a part of.What was done differently this year in the preparation leading up to yesterday's game This time last year there was a

Strongly agree here, players need incentive to play.Well for starters the coach didn't didn't communicate this year with the players.. What type of incentives are we talking do you reckon? Payments? Or a pie and Coke after the game?Strongly agree here, players need incentive to play.
I dont think the score board reflected the game to much either, KDL fell down across half forward, and deep also. Through the middle and through the backs were competitive, although were very under sized.
Stanhope had the 4 players in Edwards, Coad, Collis and Hepburn. Should be a cracking match between Stanhope and Naggaz this week.Hi guys, new poster.
Didn't get down to see te interleague on the weekend. But heard the midfielders from Avenel and also Rob Staff played the better games.
Who else will be the better players for the rest of the year ?
Also noticed nagambie and Stanhope didn't have too many players involved ? Coincidence with their clash coming up this week ?
As mentioned earlier, maybe fuel vouchers, or just something. Because I've heard no doubts that if the KD put their best side out on the track they would have definitely been the better side. What type of incentives are we talking do you reckon? Payments? Or a pie and Coke after the game?
A $100 fuel voucher isn't going to change guys opinions on interleague, especially the ones that are playing every other week for upwards of $1000 a week. Even guys that aren't getting that might just want/need the week off.As mentioned earlier, maybe fuel vouchers, or just something. Because I've heard no doubts that if the KD put their best side out on the track they would have definitely been the better side.
mazin what council can do for a ground when there involved with the clubShame that the granny can't be booked into tally. Great venue, change rooms and netball facilities. Plus the surface of the ground for the final last year was just as good as Deakin.
And as for interleague, each league would be in the same boat. Best players in the comp/ guns for hire would not want to chance the risk of missing out on the envelope the week after
Haha.. That's laughable.. Nothing will happen.. Say they will do something but can't see anything happening..I believe the league have issued a "please explain" to Nagambie as to why only 1 of the 6 interleague squad members were available to play. Have until this evening to provide 'evidence' otherwise players may be suspended. This would hurt their chances this week against Stanhope particularly on top of longer term injuries sustained to a host of players in recent weeks.
