All good Swoop the boys need to earn it. I wouldn't be surprised if VT go better than that & Lanky would only need a couple of recruits to be right in the mix to Win it.

Time will tell on the Coaching side of it Louie but it's the first time in a long time we have appointed someone who has Coached a Senior Premiership. Decades & Decades I think.

Just saw that a KDL club has had to schedule another AGM due to not forming a committee. This is usually due to the main exec roles not being filled.
It appears to be a challenging time to get volunteers to take on such roles.
How do we get better at this?

Sorry I did forget Patto. I think he is the only one.
The only departures I know of are Barnes, Ash Hughes and Matt Deledio who only played a few games. I'm not close enough to hold the clip board but they are the only ones I've heard.

Replaced em with no one and didn’t make the finals last year things are looking up
It’s very tough, and I’ve only been involved on committees etc… since 2019.
From my personal experience, I stepped in as President for a couple of years, and with my young age and inexperience, plenty filled extras roles and little jobs. Then when I wanted to just focus on the footy operations role, Greg stepped back in. He saw that a lot of the jobs he was probably taking control of were filled. Everyone has their roles, and it works.
But I guess how do you find those people?
If clubs can break roles down into smaller and smaller parts and advertise that, and some jobs that aren’t committee roles, taking some responsibility off exec and committee members, it’s a start.
Had a horrid run with injury have picked up 3 including a gun Goal Kicker and Rexy Taylor who goes well & haven't finished recruiting. We should be handy.

Hey guys, my name is Jase Tom and I'm currently based in Geelong but when the QLD borders open up in a months time I am heading up to Cairns to start a Coaching/Footy Ops Manager gig at the North Cairns Footy Club.

Yes he did, he would’ve played more seniors then reserves. Im guessing he would’ve played 9-10 seniors and 3-4 in the twos.
And that’s in the best side that was undefeated in a major league. He’ll be a better then an average player in the KDFL. Not saying he’ll dominate but he’ll be handy. Works hard both ways and fit as anyone

Yeah can do some freakish things and get the ball from end to end real quick.
and he was in the grand final loss against nathalia 3 years ago us a under 17’s player.
He’ll be handy but I still believe Gig haven’t covered there losses yet but still only early days yet they might pick up a few - but on paper there list isn’t as good as last year
You need to Kick a score to Win and we're in alot better position to do that.
