Hear the points saga continues with some clubs 7 + points over their limit if players were evaluated the same as their opposition .
Can’t recall there ever being so much inconsistency on the valuation of players.

This is interesting, evaluation the same teams they looked after last year?
Only a matter of time before it ends up in a court , which unfortunately looks to be the only way it will change .
Simply needs to be scrapped, it was brought in to even the playing field, and it has shown across all leagues that it has done the exact opposite
Was introduced and written in a manner which leagues and localised commissions had flexibility and the ability to negotiate change as each league and region needed . Unfortunately it has continually been changed and implemented in completely the opposite manner. With this year seemingly the worst in

Got to watch merrigum play longwood today as it was in my area
Longwood just too good in the 4th
A few merrigum boys unhappy with some redlegs players having a good run so decided to perform some unsportsmanlike hits late, including a kick to a downed players face

Was a pretty good game of footy biggest home and away crowd I have seen in years.
East got out to a 21 point lead at the start of the third and it felt like they could of blown the game open.
But Murch swung some magnets and ended up kicking the next 7 goals.

Finally made it back to watch a tally game. Been a long stint away.
Was a good game, dookie blew it open in the 3rd, but to tally’s credit they kept chipping away, probably won the last quarter of the day…?
Also players missing from the last game I got to see of tally’s. Possibly make a difference? But don’t know if dookie had a full side either.
Either way spot on the ladder from 5-8 will be interesting coming into the end of season

Nearly every time I see the points put into playhq they are out, what are afl north east doing, if you can't get it right, make an easier system, I've said it before have a minimum amount of 1 pointers required, don't worry about if a players worth 6, 5, 4, 3 or 2 points and what total you need

So sides play 5 under ages kids the meet the 1 point quota.
The minimum 1 pointers been done in other footy areas and didn’t work either
Isn't that whole point of country footy? You develop and promote the best kids in your 3rds, does it matter if there worth 3 points or 6 points really? They've gotta fit under the cap
What if your club doesn't have 3rds? Atleast half the clubs in this league lost their 3rds after the junior competition restructure & also covid!
Then the league goes & cancel's all prior MOU agreement's leaving majority of clubs without junior's coming up through the system for minor league clubs hence the only way to improve is to recruit? Recruiting cost points & money!
Eventually those 2 get to the point where they collide head on & the club begins a slow decline into struggle town!

Undera has a lot of talented kids and we can't get them exposure to senior footy because of the points system.

How does Undera have talented kids that have points on their heads?
I would of thought juniors at a club would be 1 pointers.
Have they been recruiting kids from GVL clubs offering them money to sign on and match payments?
Video Footage of game shows he didn’t touch the face and wasn’t anywhere near it despite what the sideline were yelling.
Seems longwood happy to throw it around too with Merrigum player getting a broken nose from an off the ball hit

Well this is the problem Roar, there's not much clarity around any decision that happens in country footy because everyone points the finger elsewhere as to who's looking after the problem but no one is giving solutions!
It's obviously clear that country footy's best interests only lay with all the club's unpaid volunteer's & not the paid people who run the show otherwise it wouldn't take year's & no action to fix a problem that is clearly destroying country football.....
Clubs can take control by refusing to be a part of it if they strongly feel it will destroy / disadvantage their fellow clubs and or league .
It obviously comes at the cost of not being affiliated which is a decision to be weighed up .
