I think it’s a great opinionated debate phantom.

For me going off recent years and current form this year he is best. 3/4 BOG when I checked and just after watching him Saturday it’s unreal. There is no bias from me as I’ve only seen him couple times.

Loads of great players to pick from nonetheless for best.

Avola, Davies, Mills, Barolli, Sidebootom, Lloyd, Paul all come to mind.

Haven’t seen Avola this year, but from the handful of games I have seen of him the past couple of years I have Davies, Mills & Boscarini ahead from Lancaster, Moore & Dalton from Nagambie, haven’t seen enough of Murch-Tool and Shepp East to comment on them and haven’t seen the Formosa’s but I think its Josh who has a pretty impressive resume’ that would well and truly cover Avola’s also.

Yeah fair enough mate for me i carnt go past Tyson Sidebottom he is a Gun.

Yep haven’t seen any of the Formosa’s live as yet, just adding names to the conversation and I’ll stick to taking the guys mentioned ahead of Avola if I had the pick of the comp. Avola serviceable last years finals series, so thats a knock for me, the other guys mentioned can and have dominated finals games apart from Dalton, but watch this space in September.

Rohan "showy" Aldous was absolutely phenomenal pre 2000, a mac medal as an 18yo in '88 then 3 on the trot from '98. "Burger" sheilds same, immoveable off the nurry and never wasted a touch...2 macs in the 80's and b2b early 90's...gvl Seymour form holding up with Dick Martin winning b2b macs in the mid 90's too. Nod to the body with no legs from the swans ...no. 36...the "Fess" ...a mac in '91. Very good period with amazing players with strong competition. And a nod to ur goodself hank saluting in '03 .

Sure does swoop. And Rohan was one of those guys that had the unique ability to go 30 on Friday and 30 on Saturday....30 UDL'S Friday and 30 touches + Saturday ....( drink responsibly )

Heading out to Tally this weekend to watch Tally v longwood,
Arguably game of the round! And pivotal to both sides aspirations you'd think.

Both teams have recruited well, and been impressive so far. Should be a cracker game.

Unless he has radio duties he’ll be there I would have thought, Might duck up to tally and have another look at them , like you stated it should be a great tussle but for me Clarkey’s lads by 3 or 4 goals
