The problem is everyone wants to compare him to Ginni who wanted out, so we needed to replace him. Schultz has more goals from same amount of games.

Stating Shultz has been poor all year and was again terrible today bar 5 minutes where he was brilliant is highly accurate.
He saved our arses in those last 7 minutes so you have to give him a fair amount of credit for stepping up when it mattered.

Isn’t he objectively amongst our leaders in goals kicked, I50 tackles, tackles in general and pressure acts? We all wish he kicked straighter sure but people still hating on him for the trade is ridiculous. All these hindsight warriors pretending they knew we were gonna have the season from hell with injuries and 90% of the team going backwards.

Exactly, all the hate for him comes from the fact we gave away a 1st rounder for him. Does he make that choice? No. I understand that’s a big price for him but I don’t think he deserves to get hate because of that.
Overall, I think he’s been decent this year, not great, but decent. His pressure is one of the best in the team, maybe would’ve liked him to kick more goals and kick straighter, but he’s still far away from being absolutely terrible.
Time will tell whether the whole trade with him was a good decision, but there’s no way you can judge it off one season. I’m hoping he has used this year as a transition year and improves into next season

You're clueless. He has been great all year. Provided the tackles and pressure. He has kicked a few a well. Sure he has missed a few goals but that's not the norm (if you have seen him play at freo you would know). There is no justification for the crap dished out.

Btw on the high price we paid, outside of F/S selections, how many players in our current best 22 were drafted by Collingwood with a first round draft pick?
