I'd say Coniglio has the ability to play better and make more of an impact but Whitfield has been more consistent this year.

It is an interesting comparison. Whitfield has better and more consistant skills, but he is being eased in and gets to trot about on the wings. While Coniglio has been thrown to the wolves as a full-time midfielder so he carries a much higher work load than Whitfield. Coniglio is much more versatile at this point but Whitfield seems a bit more classier.
