Ok, a couple of days of derailing is sufficient now that it's just a simplistic back and forth.

So, Lachie, when are you signing?!?!?

Ok, let's try quoting this again given the derails always seem to end up in the pointless back and forths.

Will be the best wingman (of those still in the old mould, rather than quasi-HBFs) in the league in a few years time IMO. One thing to be lean, but he really needs to put on more muscle; he looks a bit too skinny through the core right now.

I'd like to see GWS give him some more responsibility. Their go to outlet seems to be Scully, and it definitely restricts the amount of ball going Whitfield's way. Should share the load a bit more.

Any talk of Whitfield even being in contract talks? I reckon if he hasn't signed up by half way he's gawn.

Anecdotal only, and extremely 3rd (4th?) hand, but Hawthorn and Whitfield have an understanding he wants to finish his career with the Hawks. Hawthorn haven't (cannot?) offer a huge deal, which is what it will take to leave GWS. If no "Franklin/Boyd" deals are forthcoming, he will re-sign with GWS for another 2 years at the terms offered, with an understanding GWS will then choose not to match a RFA offer from Hawthorn at the end of 2017.

(Presumably on conclusion of next season, Hawks Hodge/Mitchell/Burgoyne/Gibson/Lewis are either retired or on substantially reduced salary).

Haha. Yep

This is the second best my friend's hair dresser story I've heard today, just behind, Port will win as they are more experienced, and my mate who knows the guys says they are totes up for the game

When's the movie coming out?

It was Richmond for Sheil. Adelaide for Jezza.
Saints were just saying names to make themselves feel better.
They still do that. I've seen a '2018 St Kilda best 22' before which names '2017 Free Agent' on the wing.
