Interesting to see that people were actually surprized that dean laidley was able to coach and do it well. not only did he spend many seasons under the watchful eye of Mick Malthouse but as a player he was a thinker. Dean himself will be the first person to admit he did not have the best skills or rack up 30 possesions a game but he was always there spoiling helping a team mate out or just controling the half back line. Laidley is the man for the job he has a good game plan where we keep the ball even if we do have more kicks at least it is hitting a player
