I was a fan of Dillon's CV, but a bloke that continues to list 'growing participation coz of the 10 percent revenue allocated to grassroots' (something that was done by the commission and before he was ceo) as what he thinks will be his biggest legacy, indicates he is a massive failure.

Lacks any new ideas, any charisma and has turned the game into a legal shit show ahead of entertainment. He can go.

AD is what happens when you’re basically anointed for a role by your ol’ buddy, the outgoing former chief.
LK is what happens when you obsess over ratios, quotas and PR opportunities.
This is basically the tin-pot African nation template for leadership selection.
We desperately need a meritocracy.
 
How long before we see a rival league start ala world series cricket? By channel 9 and eddie. They could buy the rights to the picola league, the only non afl league in Victoria for probably 500 dollars. They could pay dusty and others 3 mill a year to play there and top up with youtubers like prime rrain cados etc and vfl players. All it needs to do is actually not suspend players for football acts such as the tackle and fans would flock there and start supporting teams like Tocumwal instead of gold coast.

The afl has turned into an elite private school game and had turned its back on the working class fans

While the AFL Commission sit back ticking off every new idea and the Club Presidents say nothing.

Jeff and Eddie at least had the balls to speak up. Unlike the feckless bunch watching the game going down the crapper.
