I always assumed he left GWS as the town was not big enough for he and Toby Greene.

I hated Taylor Adams for ages but after watching a fair bit of him play I just can't. I love Sicily, Papley, Toby Greene, Nat Fyfe - you name it!

Pushing a players head in the ground and rubbing their face in the dirt is what we see the class players like Tom Hawkins? Josh Kennedy and Alex Rance do?

Alex Rance was all class and a gun player, tough as nails and all class.

This is the most ridiculously close-minded view on an issue I've seen in a very long time. Bahaha, claiming that those that perceive him to be exhibiting arrogance and poor sportsmanship, due to a perceived bias in media coverage is laughable at best. To then state that we have "small minds", well that is just proving your lack of cognition. He genuinely wasn't having malice directed at him "a few weeks ago", because at that point in time, he hadn't forcibly pushed an opposition players head into the ground in an act of arrogant, unsportsmanlike conduct. The contempt the viewing public have for him has not been unjustifiably fabricated on account of a media lynching (pardon the pun) - the dislike has stemmed from tangible events that are there for all and sundry to see!

Dusty himself has given about 3 gut punches to opponents this year, there are a few gut punches each and every week dished out but you are telling me it’s because he pushed a guys face in the dirt and gave a love tap on the weekend and suddenly he is the most disliked player around? Toby green has kicked players in the face and eye racked last year but after one state game this year he was just a “good bloke that is misunderstood?” Please spare me, this is media driven and the simple minds in Joe public have fallen for it hook line and sinker.

At some point Nick R should have been selfish and moved to a club in contention at some point- Pies for example. Or the Cats- imagine that!

I would have killed for him at Geelong. The two missing pieces in the Cat puzzle in 2013 were that gut-running CHF to complement the big unit Hawkins, and a ruckman.

That said, don't forget that the Saints were seen as being somewhere near contention till about 2012.

I hate how flabby flog journos like Jon Ralph throw terms like 'love tap' around when guys get whacked off the ball - like being punched in the guts by a 100kg athlete is a laugh, but that one actually is the closest thing to 'low impact' you can get without actually missing him entirely.

I don't mind any of them, don't get the hate for players. Most are good blokes off the field who have to change on the field, it is an intimidating game after all. The best players are often the toughest, best example is the hate for Selwood. One of the hardest player to play the game for decades, fair, never takes a short step etc, yet raises an arm to extract free kicks and he becomes the most hated player in the game.

He didn’t go down from Lynch’s tap he went down from 170cm Aarts running into him. Both lynch and Collins hit had about the same amount of force except one got fined and the other wasn’t even raised.
