I've only been in the Sweet FA for a couple of seasons now, so not near enough to be fatigued or sick of the league. Yet Season 24 has been somewhat uninspiring and bland so far. At first, I thought it was just taking a while to get into the groove. However, as it is now over half way through, and there's just no fun apart a couple of moments here and there, but for the most part, I just have little desire to post in match threads anymore.. Nothing against opposition posters, the banter is there but the fun just is not.

Hold up. Since when has posting been anything more than a qualifier for selection to ward off inactives?

For as long as anyone currently in the committee has been involved, it's been an even 50/50 split of statistical output and posting quality. Have never been involved in an All-SFA process where posting was simply considered a qualifier to ward off inactives.

Posting as a gate-opener (which is what using it purely as a qualifier is) is anything but a 50/50 split.
