First off. Congratulations to Port Power for winning the 2004 flag. But their supporters must surely admit that apart from that single year when Brisbane fielded half a side, there has been nothing but a series of embarrassing humiliations this century.

Let's consider the following list of humiliations that they've suffered:

• The first top-4 team under the new finals system to exit in straight sets in 2001. Humiliation rating 6/10
• Finish minor-premiers in 2002 but choke and humiliate themselves in the qualifying final and fail to make the Grand Final. Humiliation rating 7/10
• Finish minor-premiers again in 2003 but again choke and humiliate themselves in the qualifying final and again fail to make the Grand Final. Given this was the second year in succession that they 'achieved' this they get bonus humiliation rating points. 8/10
• Start celebrating hard a semi-final win against home-town rivals the Crows in 2005 even before the game has been played only to be humiliated by a blowout loss to the Crows. Humiliation rating 9/10
• Start celebrating a Grand Final win in 2007 even before the game has been played only to be humiliated by a record-breaking 119-point loss making them the biggest ever Grand Final losers in AFL history. Humiliation rating 10/10

Seriously, I don't know how Port Power supporters can endure that amount of humiliation year after year after year.

Can't wait to see how they seek to top their humiliation efforts in 2008.

58. The players with premiership experience realised that 2004 was the mother of all flukes, and imparted little from their pea sized hearts to their highly overated youngsters.
59. Chokeo's prematch mind games, and subsequent impersonation of helen keller in the coaches box, during the match, deserves repetition in the reasons.
60. They are the backstabbing traitors of SA Footy, and good always triumphs over evil, in the end. To this end a choked up 119 point record breaking humilitation. Won't be beaten in a hurry.

Blowing a 4 goal half time lead at home with a Grand Final spot up for grabs would be pretty embarassing i would imagine. Although for some reason you just seem proud of even getting close to a Grand Final. Contine to accept mediocrity

Sorry the game your talking about was that a Grand Final or even a record for the highest losing margin in a game? The answer is no to both, so stop trying to deflect from the real issue which is you have the GREATEST LOSING MARGIN IN A GRAND FINAL all to yourself. Losers!

You got to give him his kudos for at least trying to defend the biggest choke in the history of AFL football. Very couragous of him, although it also reeks of desperation and patheticness. He should be used to it though as his team does have a reputation.

68. Without doubt the two dumbest expert's the AFL have ever seen in Grant Thomas and Dermott Brereton tipped Port and spend all week crapping on about why they would win.

This topic has had quite a few good ones but this is my fav:

Apparently the Australian Cricket team have made a pact not to celebrate scoring 100 until they get to 119. They consider 119 to now be the most important number in Australian sport.

As I keep telling Hawthorn fans, nobody remembers regular season games. Nobody is going to remember in 100 years who won in round 4 for instance. Etched in the history books though is the new record losing margin in a grand final. Port Adelaide have made history. Well done Tredders you muppet.
