Stop getting your knickers in a knot every time someone has a dig at Port Power, the biggest Grand Final losers in the history of the AFL.

better then being minor premiers twice,2004 +2005,and NOT making the Grand Final,essendon only did it once and that was because Carldumb shouldnt of made the finals in 99

Please tell me who exactly was minor premiers twice in 2004 and 2005?

I know Port Power were in 2002 and 2003 and didn't make the Grand Final after choking in spectacular fashion but West Coast were minor premiers in 2005.

So not only are Port Power the biggest Grand Final losers in the history of the AFL but it is made worse by the fact (according to you anyway) that they were 'minor premiers twice' 'and NOT making the Grand Final'. Thanks for helping everyone sink the boot into Port Power even more.

That's right

We were Minor premiers in 2002, 2003, and 2004. We did choke twice, before overcoming the choke and winning the premiership in 2004.

You guys finished top 2 in consecutive years and don't have a grand final to show for it. I'll take losing in a Grand Final, even like we did, anyday over not making one.

Im not making any excuses for the loss, it was terrible, and obvoiusly the most humiliating loss ever.

But i fail to see how it is a choke, We were dead set underdogs, no one tipped us, we were never in the game, we werent even expected to make the grand final. So ill cop it on the chin, as you have to stick with your club through thick and thin, but atleast get the insults correct, no Choke, just pathetic.

By the way Adelaide fans, correct me if i am wrong, as i was in Germany at the time, but werent the crows up by 31points against the hawks in the elimination final, and also were winning with a minute to go and actually had the ball, and still lost. That sounds like more of a choke to me.

Anyway enjoy boasting about a teams win that you dont even care about.

Then you got smashed beyond belief, how can you go to beating them one month before to that performance? Simple really, the occasion got the better of you hence you choked. Yeah we were in form, but so were Geelong, they were clearly the best team all year by a mile, but on that day we were not in form at all. We were never in the game, therefore no choke, just not good enough.

So by your logic the crows must have choked also, you were in form (won the last 4 games leading into the finals) then lost your first final to a team that limped into the finals, and not only that you had the game and threw it away, much more of a choke.

I will not hide that we were disgraced on GF day, we were horrible, and it was a very aweful end to an otherwise good season. But we didnt choke, we were just smashed by a much better team on a bad dat for us.
