Port GF Tradition..

2004 Beat Brisbane, well Brisbane fell over after four long years. They did a Bradbury. Get to final and let the opposition fall over. Dont believe me watch the game again.

2007 Lost to Geelong by a record beating 119. Worst GF in History. After talking a bout winning premierships they serve us up with one of the most inept displays of Aussie Rules football seen in recent history, in front of millions of people around the world. In reality Geelong should of won by a few goals more.

Exactly....I dont even think Geelong played to their potential..Did they play any better than they did against the Pies. Not a hell of a lot. Any other team would of only lost by under 5 goals.

There were a lto of errors by Geelong players, Port were too lazy to get back into the game. The games get hard Port go soft.

Agree and further proves how spineless Port Power were, great they made the GF, but that was all they did, Geelong might as well have played nobody, because at the end of the day thats what occured, cant blame Geelong for that though, they came to play, Port Power just came with a pile of arrogance.

Spot on Macca, they not only embarrassed the PAFC but the embarrassed SA and Australia. It was an absolute pathetic display and should not be forgotten. The video should be shown to young kids as an example of what you will look like (on National TV), if you represent a spineless spin off of a once successful SANFL club. Afterall the Ports 137 years of history and respect was eroded in just 2 hours. It will most likely take a milenium to get any respect back from the football community, if ever.

While Port Power have the record as the worst defeat in a GF in VFL/AFL history they have lost their rights to bag any club on any level what-so-ever. Nothing any club does will ever be worse than that, since joining the AFL they have been nothing but medicore one premiership in 11 yrs please what a joke

I agree. That's why many of the notorious Port Power loudmouths have now crawled into hiding with their tails between their legs, leaving a trail of tears behind them.

The Toots counter is now at 19 days. TP is hardly sighted and Captain skibert will not leave the Port board. Most BF Port posters stay on the port board and share their thoughts like "at least we were there", "who cares about the margin it was a GF", "the players will respond next year", "at least we still have our dignity" etc.

Mean while they are the butt of every other football supporters joke due to the club throwing away "137 years" of history on one afternoon.

Yeah we were in form, but so were Geelong, they were clearly the best team all year by a mile, but on that day we were not in form at all. We were never in the game, therefore no choke, just not good enough.

When your moronic coach gobs on about "We're all about premierships and have a spot on the wall picked out etc etc" you mustve choked.

And it was on the biggest stage by 119 points.

You had 3 good players who held thier heads high and the other 19 who had their heads held high - see avatar.
