We may have lost by 33 points but Geelong were playing SUPERB (as you say) football at that stage. Crows were catching up but the last quarter may have let them down. Just because Geelong were playing supperb footy does mean Crows played crap.

Port may have bet them in round 22 but who was missing in the Geelong team? hmmm lets see:

Wasn't a good performances but i'm a realist, unlike some other club's supporters who like to ignore their own club's pathetic efforts in not making the finals in consecutive years by focusing on a club that actually did make it.

We could go down the disgraceful, weak, insipid and gutless track and rebuild by getting early draft picks but would rather face the challenges head on.

There are countless disgraceful, weak, inspid and gutless clubs in Victoria who haven't won a flag in over 30 years whilst Port won one in 8 years in the AFL with the worst recruiting concessions of any new club.

You can focus on one game all you like, i'd rather focus on the big picture

We'll see after next season. Everyone seems to discount the fact that we won 6 more games last season than 06. Why is this? Obviously the group developed and got better, and the small addition of Lloyd was quite pivotal, but the young players started to come through nicely. Expect that you think we will win the spoon as that is the general consensus around here.
We will finish quite close to Port. I whole heartedly expect us to be within 2 games of Port, whether up or down I dont know, but certainly around the mark.
Glad that you've accepted that Port were weak and gutless on GF day.

It just makes you wonder what really happened on GF day.
Did Port really show up, or did Geelong just happen to basically do no wrong on that day.
