I was just wondering as he is very different to the rest of the Waters in appearane. I think he shows patches of being a very good young footballer with a good future.

The incident against Skipton hasn't changed the way he goes about the game so I'm big wraps on the boy.

Just wondering what a CL fan/player thinks of him. That is all.

I've said a few of times in this thead that I am actually connected to a club outside the LPFL. I do watch a lot of Lexton Plains though as we will be trying to recruit a few players from this league next year.

I would have seen CL the most out of any team this year in the LPFL which would amount to maybe 5 games off the top of my head.

I'm not a member, not an ex player or anything to do with the club. It's just I seem to see more of their games than anyone else and that has made me partial to them.

so you dont have any peticular connection with carngham??

as an old friend of phil ingrams, i watched every game that they played, certainly didnt look like half the player that was expected of them.. that michael allen was very overated!!!! although they have had some good pick ups since they all left, such as justin porter and jesse waters.

What was expected of Phil? What in his track record suggested he was going to be a major influence? Prior to him playing at C/L, i don't think he had ever played a game of senior football. Not in the last few years at Clunes anyway

what is every bodies tip for the weekend, seniors and reserves
i think skipton c/l will be a ripper game, alot closer than what people think, i like carngham though, finals experience in winning the big ones, reserves should be another good one im tipping c/l again just because theyve had the wood on natte, although natte surprised a few last week i did see the last quater and they had some impressive passagers of play, what are your tips matador???

from my perspective, nothing wa expected of rhil but a lot of people said that those three recruits were very good pick ups. and they were proved wrong!

Jardine worth far more to natte than possessions only, his presence alone lifts the team and the club

My tips for the weekend are Skipton in a tough physical game and Natte in the 2s they have been running hot lately (but it will be close)

I'd probably have to say Skipton in the seniors. It's near on impossible to come from an elimination final to a grand final. If CL get in, Natte and CL will show the teams how to do it next year. Don't stress about results early in the year, just get it all right by the end. It would really be something to see Skipton out in straight sets with Chokewood.

CL should win the 2's. I saw Natte's 2's last week and they had some handy players but for the same reason as I didn't tip CL in the seniors. It's too hard to come from an elimination final to a grand final.

They need to put up $5,500.

$2,500 is non refundable and the remaining $3,000 MAY be refunded in some part at the VCFL's discression

Seniors will be a titanic struggle but I think Skipton will just be a bit too strong! Natte will be cheering for them too because I think they would much rather play them than the much more physical Carngham in the Final.

Carngham two's will be too strong, Natte picked up some handy players mid season that snuck them into finals but Carngham and Rokewood were a cut above the rest this year and will get home comfortably.

No chance in hell. Natte have got a few big blokes in the 2's to cover him and should save the money for next year. $5k goes a long way in match payments.

Can Jardine play a $5k game?

yeah jardine would probably play an ordinary game anyway. he's not any good. hes just cheap and weak!! and as i said, the farming industry is struggling so they need all the money they can get.

skipton in a tight one in the seniors, and carngham reasonably easy in the 2's.

Sardine should not get off he has done the wrong thing and jobbed a bloke behind play mind you. Bad luck Sardine better luck next year!! As for the weekend game should be a cracker my tip is a draw for the first time in the leagues history there will be a draw...

I dunno. Some of them would be wanting the big slow running Carngham to get through seeing it is a large ground. Every grand final is going to be physical regardless of who you play against.

Jones won't play next year. This was the last hurrah.

I remember reading about a certain LPFL coach who head butted somebody in the Prelim that managed to get off so there is the chance Jones will.

Strongly doubt it though.
