yeah doesnt kick many against good teams tho, umm we played well, lost a player threw suspension for 6 weeks, very ruff on him, umm i am think navare at the top and the rest could finish anywhere. what are your thoughts?

Who was it and wat he go for? Yeh i would say the same navare on top bottom 3 to be lexton, natte and rokewood..otherwise its anyones game!!:thumbsu:

Well the rumour are true i was comptenplaing going out there for a bit of a change but after much thought and descssion with my managers i have desided to stick it out and stay put..

It would be a waste of time travelling out to navarre 2 times a week when you can just play in town! I think you had a few people fairly pissed off saying you were goin to leave all of a sudden out of the blue!

Wats everyones view on the up and coming week of football??

Ararat vs C/L(linton sports complex)..
Lexton vs Illabrook(Lexton reserve)..
Skipton vs Rokewood(Skipton rec reserve)..
Navarre vs Natte Bealiba(Navarre sports complex)..

Mine is...
Ararat vs C/L..Eagles to get up in a thriller of a match..Ararat by 4 points
Lexton vs Illabrook..Doggies to win in a closer match than first though..Illabrook by 5 goals
Skipton vs Rokewood..Skipton to good for rokewood..Skipton by 13 goals
Navarre vs Natte Bealiba..Navarre's pace and skill far to good for Natte..Navarre by 15 goals

well it wasn't out of the blue i have been thinking bout it for a long time now i have been unhappy with the way some of my fallow team mates have been treated bout the amount of time they have been given on the ground when they trainin two times a week and are total committed to the club and others don't trainin and get full games which i believe to be unfair in my eyes if you dont have a valied reason for not being at training you shouldn't play which is just my point of veiw..!!!

Carngham by 8 points
Illabrook by 60 points
Navarre by 65 points
Skipton by 40 points

My tips for this round:Carngham most likely over the eagles but if the eagles stand up and be accountable and start moving the ball well through the corridor and delivering to the full forward line properly it will be a danger game for the saints, but the saints to get up by 2 points.Illabarook will be too strong for an improving lexton side and should run out 9 goal winners.Navarre to easily account for natte by 10 goals. if lang plays make 18 goals.skipton to thump chokewood by 20 goals haha.

David lang is playin this week talk about that boys

Yep its official, D Lang is playing juniors....Oh no ur all in trouble now haha
Going by sundays performance hes probably goin 2 play in their forward line but it wouldnt surprise me if he doesnt cos that forward line they had the other day was mighty strong already!
Wheres every1 else reckon he'll play?

Eagles to win by 3goals over C/Linton- If the eagles get their run going out of the middle then they should win, but a good battle is on their hands.
Skipton by 8goals over Rokewood- Parker will kick 7 to be outright leader in goals, rokewood will try hard then get blown away in last half.
Navarre over Natte Bealiba by 14goals- To many midfield and forward line options, will run the swans off their feet. Ash Driscoll will kick 6.
Illabarook to just win over Lexton by 4goals- At home the tiges will give the dogs a scare but wont be strong enough. Ryan jeffery will be kept quiet.

We just don't get carried away and talk ourselves up like you do...If we play the footy we're capable of then we have a great chance but you can't just go into every round expecting an easy win - that would be plain stupid and too cocky.

One thing I know is that it will be a very tight game - closest for the round.

Yeah for sure. It will be a very tought game because Carnham are yet to lose at home all year and are the best home team in the competition. If we can shutdown the O'Brien bros and Ben Johnson then we are half way there though. An upset could be on the cards but it's really a toss of the coin.

Can't wait to see the results for the next Illabrook/Navarre game when it happens. Could well be a grand final preview!
