Oh please..... comments like that on the night one of your own got off on a "questionable one".

If you want to ask someone about Essendon getting off at the tribunal, ask Fletcher. That guy goes up and is instantly guilty based on record alone.... which of course lengthens his record yet again.

Certainly don't believe its some big conspiracy or it happened due to eddie's money, but let me guess, eddie wont be jumping out of his seat, showing tribunal decisions during the year and saying how rediculous that kosi got rubbed out and licuria didn't?

i can definitely tell that the pie's fans are loving this, and so they should. licuria gets off while kosi scores a week for a seemingly carbon copy act.

i'd have to say that collingwood have the best defence team when it comes to the tribunal. they are the most organised, the most professional and also the smartest - and they'd have to thank ed for that.

if a pies player does get suspended then more often than not he would've got more weeks if he was at another club (i think that makes sense). it's not money talks or favouratism, it's that the defence team is bloody good.

well done collingwood.

Then maybe you should get your Essendon supporting president to get his own TV show. Then you won't feel aggreived, perhaps all the AFL clubs should get off their collective a*ses and find a personality that will push that clubs agenda.

But wait, eddies been doing that for most Vic clubs already due to a lack of vision and probably talent at most victorian clubs administrations

Yep agree with that one.... could well have hit the nail on the head. The pies are, in my opinion, the best dressed outfit in the AFL when it comes to professional representation at the tribunal.

I don't care what side the players come from, the tribunal is just an absolute joke this year (in particular).

Just dispense with the tribunal board and instead for each player reported toss a coin. If it comes up heads he is guilty and roll a die to see how many weeks. If it comes up tails he is innocent. It will probably work out about as equitable as it currently is.

Surely you can take your blinkers off long enough to have a mature football discussion ?

It was a good decision. The AFL should not suspend players for that type of trip. I believe a player should only be suspended when there is force in a trip, ie. a kick. The most that should happen is a free kick. I hope the tribunal keeps up the conistency with this, and only suspends players that kick players in the trip.

Fletcher rubbed out twice and Kosi once. Wheres the consistency.

Wasn't a violent thrust of the leg , he was just wrong footed and his leg "blocked" Sainsbury" rather than tripped him.
Never in any danger of causing an injury.

Holy ****, this bloke is supposed to be independant!!!
What joke this process has become

Licuria?s plight was helped when reporting officer Rick Lewis cast doubt over the charge. Lewis urged the tribunal to watch the video footage back in real time rather than in slow motion, and stressed that the Licuria?s contact with Sansbury?s knee was ?quick?.

?It sounds like I?m summing up for Collingwood. And I probably am,? Lewis said in his case summary.

?He can?t make his (left) leg disappear.?

Baffling decision.
No more baffling than the Scarlett one. Yes I am still going on about that.

Starting to see a pattern though?

Burns in the GF - nothing. Guerra in the Wizz Cup - 3 weeks
Licuria trips - nothing. Kosi trips - one week

I could bore you with more examples.

It's simple. Look at the club not the incident when determining verdicts. It is the one area they are consistent.

What a joke!!!!!! Almost every incident would seem less "offensive" if it were played in real-time, yet we *ALWAYS* see it in slow-motion. Very interesting outlook from Lewis above.

Nothing surprises me anymore. At North ive seen the following occur;

-Archer found guilty and suspended for 1 week for ATTEMPTING to strike!! He didn't even make contact with the opponent, but they suspended him for 1 week for attempting to strike. We have blokes now who get off for striking an opponent, because there was no force, or no INTENT!!

-Martin Pike booked for tripping(got let off). The opponent infront of him who was chasing the ball, tripped over the ball went to ground, Pikey leapt over him picked up the ball and took off. The umpire blew the whistle, reported Pikey for Tripping and handed the ball to a stunned opponent who didn't know what he was getting the ball for.

- Brent Harvey found guilty of touching an umpire on the shoulder, and attempting to turn him to see a couple of opponents throwing a single North player to the ground.

Nothing the Tribunal/umpires do now surprises me.
