Coach Lions - Has the Fagan era already peaked?

I think that’s too simplistic. It’s about a whole of coaching group. Some clubs have great tacticians as head coach (eg Port), others have assistants who do a lot to game day tactics. But you wouldn’t know watching on tv as the commentary puts it all down to the head coach.
Kenny's mum.

Is that you?

Very true, and none of us know for sure what goes on internally.

The Brisvegas leaders need to have a look at themselves if they can get four goals up with seven minutes to go. Not sure Fagan is to blame. All of Zorko, Neale, Andrews, Gunston, McCluggage and Cameron went missing in the last 10 minutes.
You watch the way they play and something is missing… I don’t think they have a great strategic mind driving strategy down at Brisbane.

Probably the best list in the AFL pound for pound, but lack the game plan

Not that it'll happen but they wouldn't wanna drop next week's game to Geelong.
Still have Collingwood to come which is a loss.

Very flaky team.
Them & St Kilda would be easiest of all finalists.
Even if they get a home final, you can bet on them choking as they usually do.

I feel like next week is a game for us where we have nothing to loose. We have been essentially given no chance to win and are well and truly underdogs.

Come out and hit them with everything and even pinch a win.

Can't see it happening.
If it were a final, I'd back us.
If we lose to Essendon, it would have to be a must win considering the circumstances.

Wonder if Hardwick would look at this list and think to himself, Fages, what ya doin mate.
Move aside and let me steer the ship to a couple of grand finals.

No thanks to Hardwick but surely Chris Scott would be keen to take on a team ready to win a premiership again.

Kenny is such a great tactician, that we've won 13 in a row after he got kicked out of the box and Carr took over the actual game day stuff.

Let's not forget donuts Hinkley has repeatedly gone on record and said the coach can't really do much on game day, while chugging down case after case of coke Zero.

Your post is honestly so offensive. Donuts has always been tactically inept. His strength is in being all buddy buddy with the players and keeping the group together. Not tactics.

Even during 'the streak' you can't accept Hinkley is the GOAT of coaching

Unfortunately, Fagan does not come across as a good coach… he has good management and people person written all over him, but from a tactical perspective he is obviously lacking behind some of the others.
Playing at the Gabba helps that is for sure. From 2019 Brisbane win at least 14 games or more in each of the home and away seasons. So they are good enough for finals and challenge for the premiership. Just always seem to fall short for whatever reason.

I don’t know why you play down Kenny, even boak has praised Kenny’s tactics this season
It’s sad you don’t support him

Biggest advantage in the AFL just about… 11 guaranteed wins at the gabba + an “away” game against GCS… so almost 12 guaranteed wins. Only need to win 3-4 away matches and they get top four.

Easy pickings

Lol why is away in quotation marks.

I think the two Adelaide teams get the best run of it at the moment. Don't they get 13 games at AO each year?
