It's a tough team to break into and Bruce has been just as impressive. I feel for Dev but he needs luck on his side at this point. It sounds like he's doing all the right things at the moment at least, by finding another position and playing well there.

While Fagan has always been stubborn with his selections (and i still maintain we lost that geelong prelim because of it) Dev was only recently pushed down back. Maybe it might be a role switch that could uplift his career here, but he's still being trialed in that position. You can't just throw him into an AFL game right away from it. Also, it looks like Sam Day is ahead of fort in the selection committee. Will be interesting to see how he plays on the weekend

Me too.
I am concerned we won’t be able to kick enough goals to win the match.
Watching the Eagles last week you wouldn’t think we need to kick many but I am expecting a better effort from them this week.

Being respectful, last week it looked like little had changed over the off season for the Eagles. It’s going to be a long year for them.

A West Coast win on Sunday would be a bigger (by a long way) surprise than our upset at Subiaco back in 2007 when nobody gave us a chance. I loved that one!

Last week was a great win, if we show half that application we will be fine.
