Your right stiffy im gonna have to disagree with you on that one:eek:
Should be a pretty close game one would imagine. West still have some gun players on there books and have been competitive lately whilst from all reports Grovey were very lucky to fall over the line against Lara.

Injuries and tiredness have started to hurt the young Grovedale side but id like to think the boys can finish off an improved year with a good victory infront of the faithful this wknd:thumbsu:

Congratulations to cheesey Greg Van Hee's who is playing his 300th game for the tiges this week also.
 
All I hope is that it is not typical Grovedale conditions of being wet and windy.
Very difficult and frustrating place when it is blowing a Terry.
It has been a long time since both sides met initially in Round 1.
The GFL has to have a good hard look at itself when doing the draw next year.
It is a shambles.
Clubs playing each other twice before playing other clubs first time round.
It cannot be that difficult.
Good Luck to Cheesy, played a couple of times against the veteran.
Thought he was retiring three years ago.

no matter how they do the draw there are going to be a fair few people complaining

Krock is an embarresment to the whole Geelong region(You got that right!!)

Anyone know who mouthed off on Krock about Harris being sacked as coach of Lara.Apparently it was rumoured on Krock on Sat.In the press today:

The Lara coach labelled the rumours "unsubstantiated and disrespectful" and said they attacked the fabric of a unified football club on a rebuilding mission.

What do you think Kingy and Bewsy do on the weekend?

When Geelong's not playing and he's working for K-Rock, Bewsy runs the bench at Leopold for Greavesey...

Kingy calls the footy on 99.5... both Bellarine and GFL...

So all three members of the panel are actually watching local footy every week...

Milky and Kingy are just two goons who sit at the pub on a friday night and listen to clowns that make up rumors then they decide to report them on K-Rock. If the city of greater geelong does not have at least two peolpe with more knowladge about local footy than those blokes we are in trouble.
 
colac might not beat south this week. i've heard they might rest a couple as there is nothing to gain from this match - they're gonna finish in second spot regardless of the result.. those players will be back the following week, when they start turning it on in the finals :cool:

I guess they are just like people on here who come on and post bs rumors. The only difference is they have got the balls to at least put their face and name to it, whereas people on here mostly hide behind anonymus names.

Big rumour coming out of North Shore. The vacant coaching position is open. Apparently they are going to throw the kitchen sink at ex premiership player Travis Robertson. Now a premiership coach in the BFL North Shore are desparate to get him back. But the kicker is apparently he can bring whoever he wants from Ammos with him. They need an injection of talent there and they want him to coach and bring players coz they need them.

no suprise there but they did offer him the job two years ago when he was assistant and he turned his back on the club for ammos. Also know that the shore are talking to a number of prospective coaches from melbourne and surrounding areas (don't have names TF) and they hope to announce by finals end. thats all i have at the moment see if i can get more on weekend.

I think you'll find that they both will be staying at West. If they did leave, I would imagine that Modewarre would be the last place they would head to. Dale at least still lives and works in Melb. And no, Sproule was long gone from Werribee when Paul arrived and Dale never played at Werribee, was on Melbourne's list for 2 years and played at Sandringham.
 
No chance of the Carson brothers going to Modda no way they could afford them. Modda's list will improve in 2010 though, with a few signings not far away.

'chokedale' what is wrong with them? they just don't want to win finals football games.!

also luke maher's efforts in the 1st quarter were nothing short of comical. supposedly knocked out after being bumped to the turf, sprawled on the turf for a good minute belly up. then he gets up sprints 30 metres towards a torquay player to remonstrate, swings 30 haymakers (think one might of connected out of the 30) goes in the book and recieves a yellow card and then decides that he feeling the effects of the bump again, has to be helped from the field by the drysdale trainers... the bump was completely fair the way.

that was an embarassment big fella, funny to watch though!
